only a handful from memory davydoo and relatively small quantities. they only appear for me on the day, so I can see today's now but not yesterday's.

there have been a couple so far today - 1500 @ 5.3 and 12190 @ 3.98 so not much happening. nice to see the 100k @ 4p on LSE though

Yes that is a bit disappointing. 1.1m shares sold on Fri out of those (apparent) 3.5m traded.

For the record it looks like they had around 7.1m prior to selling 650k on 20 Mar, then 830k up to 26 Mar and then 1.1m on 27 Mar to leave them with the 4.5m per today's RNS.

Just found out that new TED CEO Rachel Osbourne was a non exec at Dunelm. Small world.

TED have just raised a load of cash by selling their HQ, they should make a swift bid for FCCN, and create a stable of brands. Especially to cut central costs, and pursue global licensing

Surely Marks would rather sell to another fashion house than Ashley

I wonder what history Marks and Kelvin have.

Do you have visibility of trades through NEX exchange (recently acquired by Aquis but still reported as NEX on ADVFN at least)? 2.5m of Friday's trades were reported as LSE and 1m were NEX.

I’m not sure about those trades on Friday, none of my buys showed as individual trades, and some of the big trades looked more like matching buys and sells, e.g. between MMs or between an individual’s accounts, e.g taking a CGT loss on a sale, then buying with their own account, e.g an ISA to get any recovery cgt free

But thanks for reminding me that Friday’s RNS was for Thursday’s trades and so we should expect another one on Monday, assuming they were in effect selling to me.

So according to Friday's RNS WA Capital crossed the 6% threshold downwards on Thursday leaving them with 5.6m shares. Since 3.5m shares changed hands on Friday, hopefully they are now well under the notifiable threshold and we'll have another RNS tomorrow to confirm they've gone below 3%.

Any further decent volume tomorrow might see the back of them completely? There seem to be plenty of buyers at 4p.

Re Mike Ashley, He built up a large stake and it would seem to be a no brainer to buy the company, close all stores then reap the benefits of the wholesaling arm. However, to let staff go in the current environment would not go down well to put it mildly

Thanks Smickler. I had looked up WA Capital scale and origins but the more I now think about it the more this could just be a case of reputation management. Their FCCN holding is down to a tiny % of the company’s holdings and presumably family’s wealth, but it really wouldn’t look good to have them holding a retail failure as retailers themselves

I’m surprised Marks isn’t buying at these levels, no idea why he’s keeping it listed.

Suspect the share price is going nowhere until they’ve managed to sell their remaining 5%

Or at least 2% more to get them off the publicity they may fear as being an investor in another retail business that may fail

WA Capital decreasing a stake built up in 2016 so looks like a get out at any price decision. Its the investment vehicle of the Dunelm founders son apparently. Many different ways to view this but i've no special insight.

very strange. I traded a substantial number of shares today, and not one trade is showing.

Yupawiese2010,

How can i tell if the price i dealt at was best price or not? The subsequent trades were within 5 mins according to the trades data but not simultaneous to mine? The sharpening the pencil comment wasnt meant seriously btw.

smicker - Don`t Selftrade now Eqi offer a best price execution. this is part of there garb, contact them let us now how you get on.

"We meet best execution in over 99.9% of trades - if we don't meet best execution on your trade, we'll automatically refund the dealing commission charged ".

no position

Bought that 37.5K and had to pay dearer, then 2 larger trades have gone through at 4.00. Selftrade need to sharpen their pencil. Plenty of trades and volume today, looks like fear going possibly.
