Who wouldnt want to buy an almost transformed company ...with a quality brand name to top it off. Mike Ashley is already in the retail/clothes sector with sports direct. Doesnt take an einstein ;)

A single deal of 8.3 million shares has gone through this morning which does not correspond to the OTK number. There was a 1m deal also.

Unfortunately not much to report. You will have seen there was no trading update with the AGM. Marks clearly wanted it to be over asap, but Neil Williams the COO was more open and helpful. My impression is that nothing is different to what they said in March, and they understand and are focussed on re-shaping the Loss making retail part and continue to make progress with disposals.

Simso, the other execs will speak to you and spin you a line, but you must corner Marks to get some proper answers about what is going on. Good luck. You will have good company with David. Id be interested to know how things go, but I am an ex holder now and no problem if you don't wish to share on this forum.

TMFMain thanks for the warning. I have given up the chance for a day at the cricket at Headingley in glorious weather to go to FCCN instead, so if they will not speak to me I will be pretty angry!

Some words of advice for those attending the agm. I have attended two FCCN agms and the board plays the same trick each time... when the formal part of the meeting is finished, the board stand up and don't offer questions from the floor. The ops director and finance director then head towards the private investors, while Marks makes quickly his escape. If you wish to speak to Marks, then bear that in mind. I wonder if anyone from Gatemore will appear, as they have complained about not being able to speak to Marks. He ought to be there tomorrow.

I honestly don't think this will have anything to do with charts. The Embedded value here is that the Brand licensing income alone is worth £60m+, and the Wholesale and parts of retail also have value. we just have to await progress on closing the loss making stores which act as a huge drag on valuation.

Chart is looking reasonably hopeful for a push back up towards 50p in the coming weeks, all IMO of course...
