29/4/2020 11:24 | I'll get this again around 10p around November when we are bound to get some sort of stockmarket crash again Dead money to be in here for now, unless some drastic stamp duty cuts are announced, which could happen of course | topazfrenzy
21/4/2020 10:45 | Here'e another way of thinking about it.Leys say you was a private client of the broker who is handling the placing and you could buy some at 40 whilst the share price is, say 45p.Me, I'd sell them immediately as nothing beats free money. | plat hunter
21/4/2020 09:56 | Before covid i was shying away from tech as a winter seem to be approaching but post covid I see digital services booming. | plat hunter
21/4/2020 09:30 | Yes quite right again, another good informative post, that is why I like reading shorters posts. I know a very poor situation, but I attempt to look well into the future, things will be different guaranteed but people need homes and accommodation. I have a few small positions lower and around here, so will hold and see. Been increasing my other positions and opening a few small tech and pharma ones. dyor Nice talking active | srpactive
20/4/2020 18:45 | You could open all the foxtons today and make people go in and visit and it still won'y change their fortunes. The trouble is that the property market, 1is as leveraged as it can possibly be and is wholly backed by the swap market. If you haven't already, brush up with what's playing out in the swap market currently. It's a blood bath | plat hunter
20/4/2020 08:29 | P All non essential shops will be open and estate agents will be open with the first as the media has mentioned. Yes as you state situation awful in the UK but as a country we will overcome this, I feel this is now getting priced in. Foxtons will be stronger after raising this money at an attractive price for the institutions. We will see as I have said a good balanced thread keeps me thinking of all possible outcomes. dyor Thank you for your invaluable comments. Take care active | srpactive
19/4/2020 14:47 | Its still a book auction.. there's not a home for the new shares until the broker sells them. These types of placings usually occur when the company can not get access to credit, has no cashflow, no available appetite for a placing and not enough time to offer the placing to existing shareholders.Tick enough of those boxes and it looks desperate. | plat hunter
18/4/2020 20:27 | d We had the chance to buy in in the 30's which I did and a few more higher up. The main point is by allowing the city boys in pushes it higher for all. That is just my take. active | srpactive
18/4/2020 09:18 | Amazing how all the people who bought in on this placing get a near 20 percent paper profit already. Hard life being a director these days. Little pi investor don't get a look in only more dilution | deadly nightshade
17/4/2020 15:59 | RNS regarding the placing. Looks good, hopefully with more big investors on board and directors buying at 40p a floor could be in. A steady as she goes rise as lockdown is eased would be excellent. | srpactive
17/4/2020 14:03 | Well it’s a positive and a good placing price @ 40p, it’s been volatile lately but this should bring stability to proceedings and see off BB8 lol I will look to take a stake probably next week, let the dust settle. I am already in HMSO @ 57p, as my property sector recovery play, so will probably not buy more than 5000 shares here. | ny boy
17/4/2020 11:13 | Just supporting the company by raising £22m at 40p. | srpactive
17/4/2020 10:39 | Haven't read the details of the placing yet | plat hunter
17/4/2020 08:10 | C I agree with your second paragraph, all companies should be far stronger financially, wages and a small bonus plus share incentive schemes to all. | srpactive
17/4/2020 08:06 | Isn’t this really a bail out to keep the boys in the way they have come accustomed to? Going forward these types of businesses need to retain much more capital on their balance sheets. | chillpill
17/4/2020 07:56 | N Yes agree, having the funds ready to return if not used or to acquire more lettings books is a good move in my opinion. Also it would hopefully encourage large investors in at 40p to then build from. dyor active | srpactive
17/4/2020 07:37 | Sensible move. | neilyb675
16/4/2020 09:07 | No not yet.... Lenders pulling deals and rates hasn't even hit the market yet because of the lockdown. | plat hunter

16/4/2020 08:32 | My shorts closed out already.. Didn't last long today, some you win some you lose. | plat hunter
16/4/2020 07:55 | Good morning all short or long. Interesting article today. Coffee shops, restaurants and estate agents will be 'first to reopen' - but will be fitted with screens to ensure social distancing - when UK begins to ease out of lockdown active ( L ) | srpactive |
