You don’t have to buy the shares, a few of us have added, should get to 92p by Q1 - 2018

I think they will do something for 1st time buyers on stamp duty in the budget. Either that or downsizers.

How that would impact Foxtons I have no idea. Maybe a temporary lift

Either way a hunch is not a strong enough reason to buy the shares.

Some investors buy double bottoms, early days but could prove rewarding, ignore the noise from the watchers. GL if you are long, seems like a good entry level, Time will tell, sell at 92p

FOXT Foxtons........ Rough double bottom on chart.

Will it be a worth while short term trade up to the budget and after. ????

I know the govt are looking at building houses but without incentives to buy them its a waste of time. Any thoughts, ive had a small dabble.🤔 8512;😎

NY BoyJust thought I'd have a chat with my guys this morning.Numis had 2 working buyers earlier in the week. They seem to have taken a back seat while the board gets smashed in at every opportunity. I won't add anymore unless they get to silly levels. If buyers emerge anytime soon I'll be told and will pass on but for now it's a tin hat job so it might be worth keeping your powder dry.Good luck

Retest of last month’s lows, 63.5p intra day low, 64.5p closing lows.

Watching for confirmation of a double bottom. This week’s price action will be important.

I will add if these levels hold

I agree. With increased taxes for landlords the tenants are going to suffer more. Yes rents are going to rise. They're not really rising much yet though, over the last 18 months, I'm finding. It's a business though which the government doesn't understand. Landlords will ALWAYS find a way to make more money.

DT,

The letting fee issue is huge, as you rightly say.

My guess is management fees will rise to fill the gap, and then the landlord will up his rent to make up the gap, and the renter will have to pay more rent!

Nice how the government looks after the little people isn't it?
