Bookbrokers They aint Savills. LOL Think Jon Hunt would have a lot more sense than paying the equivalent of £3m for a leased office with less than £200k profit with limited talent

All the ballbreakers have gone

Volume yesterday was from new buyers and not from names previously mentioned . I've made my position clear but I could well be wrong but I think these will move in the right direction.I'm done for today.gla

It’s the brand Wad, u mention Jon Hunt, he’ll most likely buy this back , it’s not going to require much input from him, he’ll just employ a conductor to orchestrate the day-today running of the business!

Foxtons are a totally different company to the hugely successful one that Jon Hunt kicked off
Repackaged and sent back out to the market by some players those that now earn the fees enjoy a very limited financial stake in the company
Recipe for disaster so those who earn the fees will always be looking for the main chance to move and grab more equity. History tells us that a challenging market is the time to jump ship .Its the nature of the beast

That's one of the biggest dealing rooms in the City as well. A good mate of mine works there and he's rather on the large size so would not be prone to standing up. So the only time that desk rises is when he has dropped his pen.

I see where you are coming from. No atmosphere in a trading room anymore. I was up there a while back and the boys have got a device where the trading desks rise up so you can stand rather than sit. That's Human Resources for you.

Take it as read that those big fee earners wont be waiting to see how the share price develops at Foxtons especially those in charge of lettings portfolios especially if there are any rumours of corporate predators they will be taking care of their own futures

Tired of feeding shareholders dividends and head office expenses their hard earned fees they will be upping sticks clients and properties in tow to pastures new Its what always happens in a challenging market only the deadwood salarymen remain

Very rarely frequent the City these days
Most of my chums have long gone.
Had such a laugh in my working days that in a funny way , I don't like to go back
Live with the memory and somehow find it rather sad how it has changed
Progress I suppose ...

MorningI could be wrong but I've just bought another 25000 this morning. I get the feeling that the seller has finished. The volume yesterday was the biggest we've seen so far and that's after a 20% plus rise in the share price. No smoke without fire!!!!
