23/2/2019 12:25 | Can anyone post the FT article please. If not, what was said. Many Thanks. | cabi1
23/2/2019 11:58 | Sounds like another rebrand on the way judging by that article. 🙄 | sickness
23/2/2019 09:43 | FBT mentioned in FT today (along with CentralNic and WanDisco). Small Cap (Technology) page 16. Nothing of great importance, however. | horneblower
23/2/2019 08:53 | TownNews is going to be a huge account for FBT. Maybe they will Buy us out. | cabi1
23/2/2019 07:50 | Looks like there could be more to come from TownNews if the CEO of Lee Enterprises (their parent company) come true: “A big part of our strategy is to accelerate revenue and cash flow growth at TownNews,” says Lee CEO Kevin Mowbray. “Revenue at TownNews over the last six months is up more than 30% over prior year, and we believe this acquisition will further accelerate revenue growth." | chriscallen
22/2/2019 19:39 | Well at least the TownNews acquistion means a good end to FBTs week: "TownNews, creator of the media industry's leading content, revenue, and engagement platform, announced today that it is acquiring GTxcel's Rayos and Rivista suites. The acquisition will add more than 200 broadcasters and magazine publishers to TownNews' client roster, which already includes nearly 1,800 newspaper, television, radio, magazine, and web-native properties" So FBT get a potential increase of over 10% from the fees that TN generates and they haven't had to lift a finger or spend a penny on marketing. | chriscallen
22/2/2019 18:16 | There's always WeVideo - I registered to check it out a long while back. It should work fine. There's a free option. Just tried logging on with my details. They still work. As a precaution I would download any final cuts and put them on cloud storage such as google's just in case they decide to wipe the data from the free accounts. Am pretty sure I uploaded and edited stuff as part of playing with it, nothing there now! | _m_k
22/2/2019 16:19 | Hyper it has a cloud option and could probably run on a raspberry pi so..... Online video editor by fbt is good and cheap too. | mcsean2164
22/2/2019 15:57 | Don Roberts from @WeAreSinclair discusses implementation of cloud based play out for @KidsClickTV at @SMPTEDC’s chapter meeting @Imagine_Comms #smpte Huw Dymond commented on Twitter. Good to see this Azure based live linear video solution getting acceptance. Enjoyed working with the dev team on parts of the solution. Funnily enough my wife @anne_uk1 met Don in a Starbucks at NAB a few years ago too, very nice man @Imagine_Comms @Azure | cabi1

22/2/2019 15:42 | Hyper going back to Co2 FBT are green! From our SBS Stephen B. Streater Stephen B. Streater @video4me The Paris Climate Change Summit used @forbiddentech cloud video editing to save tons of CO2 and cost. Send the data round the world, not the people! #cloudvideo #cloudeditor #cloudadoption | nickb

22/2/2019 14:43 | Hyperal, Openshot is open source and pretty good. | mcsean2164
22/2/2019 14:14 | Hyper try this: hxxp://www.onlinevid Captevate. It might still let you use it for free. | _m_k
22/2/2019 09:17 | Impressive data set Hyper Al. Switched from big mac to fillet o fish way back. Every little helps. Man is a dirty beast and needs to clean up his act for sure. Co2 might seem like a walk in the park compared to unleashing corrupted dna into the natural world's gene pool. Tide of progress though won't be halted for better or for worse. Be handy to have a spare planet though. | _m_k
21/2/2019 18:11 | SSB I would have a celebratory drink (with ice) if the share price hit 10p. 😂 GL | paulcon1
21/2/2019 17:21 | No celebration drinks for us then. Ice age will be in before we hit £10. | sideshowbull
21/2/2019 15:35 | Nice loop around! 😃 | paulcon1 |
