"Did Zippy have a share price prediction?"

The former winner has not entered a price this year, so far.

Zippy is the share equivalent of Quantitative Easing.

You never know - be might now be working for FBT and be prohibited from posting?

The current build-up of CO2 in the Earths atmosphere is massive and needs to addressed NOW!

The chart in the link below shows past CO2 levels covering about 770,000 years. These values are not disputed, they are fact. They are recorded from Ice cores and more recently from atmospheric observations. The current atmospheric observations correlate with recent absorption by ice, so the recent atmospheric observations are proven not to be an artifact of the monitoring.

on this website, if you click on the link image in the top left you can flick between long period and short period graphs, you can also zoom in and look at more recent chart data in detail.

So what are YOU going to do to reduce your production of CO2 ?

Yes, bonio10000, I think the rules work to catch the period when, for example, the BoD know that a major deal has been signed but has not yet been notified by an RNS(caught by (ii)); when a deal hasn't yet been signed but they think it is likely to be in the near future (caughtby (iii)); any time within two months of the publication of annual or half yearly results - on the basis that the Financial Statements were published on March 15th last year and notified previously on March 5th - the Company has been in a close period since January 15th at very least. So I don't think the purchases can be made by the Directors or anybody associated with them e.g. family or trusts nor can it be by any employee as that would constitute "insider trading", which is specifically a criminal offence but has been difficult to prove in the past though more cases do seem to have been taken recently. Lees would be caught because he is still with the Company so that rules him out. Perhaps it's just somebody with a bit of idle cash who fancies a punt on a company that looks as if it might deliver the goods in the next couple of months? (they always said a fool and his money...)

I thought a major RNS would scupper it too? Can't see a director being allowed to buy they day before being bought out, for example.Happy to be wrong though.

The circumstances that create a close period are set out in the AIM Rules:
close period
(i) The period of two months preceding the publication of an AIM company’s annual accounts pursuant to rule 19 (or, if shorter, the period from its financial year end to the time of publication); and
 if it reports only half-yearly, the period of two months immediately preceding the notification of its half-yearly report or, if shorter, the period from the relevant financial period end up to and including the time of the notification; or
 if it reports on a quarterly basis, the period of one month immediately preceding the notification of its quarterly results or, if shorter, the period from the relevant financial period end up to and including the time of the notification;
(ii) any other period when the AIM company is in possession of unpublished price sensitive information; or
(iii) any time it has become reasonably probable that such information will be required by these rules to be notified.

What is the timescale ie closed share trading period? -' (Just googled it)

A 'closed period' is 30 calendar days before the announcement of an interim financial report or year-end report

You both maybe right if results are on 15th March - Squeezed it in!!!

Whilst welcome, a director purchase would signal no major deals in the offing.I assume he can't buy anyway due to the proximity of results?
