Blackbird has enhanced workflows for prelinking Avid Master clips that have been ingested into Avid media file storage. This includes the ability to store Avid Master clip metadata and extends the support for handoff to this editing solution. Lightning fast video upload to the cloud? This is how it’s done.

Blackbird is all about creating and distributing video as easily and efficiently as possible.

I recently introduced the Blackbird java script editor. Running in a browser transforms the delivery of our cloud video platform by distributors, resellers and OEMs to their clients.

Blackbird Edge is about simplifying how Blackbird puts videos into the cloud.

Suppose you have dozens of production company clients, with multiple TV series with tens of thousands of clips in each. The rack mounted Blackbird Linux Edge Server is perfect for this. We are on Microsoft Azure and (quietly it seems) on Amazon AWS i hope we can get on Google Cloud Platform to go after Media Clients they have.

Google see media and entertainment sales vertical as an important growth area for the Google Cloud Platform.

They are actively targeting Media companies to move video workflows onto their Cloud Platform.

Just recently opened a data centre for LA region for that purpose.
