On past performance and given that we are now in the holiday season there probably won't be any worthwhile news until the week before the interim figures are released (mid September?.

McSean and Bonio

I think you are both right as its difficult to establish what any FBT staff have achieved as literally no information is divulged. At present I would side with Aziz due to the fact he was visible and visibility is what FBT seem to lack at present.

I have never been more disillusioned as an FBT shareholder as there seems no direction or purpose. This maybe a pivotal moment for the industry and its movement to the cloud but every month goes by a potential rival company is born, a present rival company seems to gather momentum and alternative technologies will be being thought up.
Not to forget potential competition from Tech giants like Japan, Korea and Taiwan who will no doubt want to rival the US tech giants in the cloud space.

If the Tech is as unique and as ground breaking as we think then Sales and Marketing is critical (and has been for 18 months) and if FBT disagree I believe they should sell the company and allow a more Sales and Marketing led company with financial clout to fulfil the potential of the Technology.

GL and IMHO

Co-parent holder doesn't really mean a lot. To be honest, I don't follow your line of thought.

What was the problem with Jens' work?

Aziz was CMO before CEO but wasn't Jens' boss.

Anyway, it's hard to decide which CEO was/ is more inappropriate/ worse. In nearly a year, the only visible thing im has done is an adequate rebrand and one post. Not exactly exciting...

Aziz was there before he was CEO. They were also co-patent holders on a number of things.

Bonio,

Aziz became CEO on October 6, 2015.

Jens was hired June 2014, if anyone is to blame I think it is Stephen Streater.

In saying that, I don't know what Jens did or did not do, he was a web developer and now works for Delatre. Presumably, he is now helping Delatre design their own cloud offering? My only interaction with him was about eva for which he was very bullish and dismissive of my offer to help get fashion users. i still think if eva had gone for a niche market, it could have succeeded but that was hardly his fault?

Huge opportunities globally so yes but for me it’s all about the US crack that and the rest of the world will follow I believe.

They have been presenting to US West coast Tech biggies (I.M interview) that’s chasing the big prize we all want.

Those Grabyo contracts are most likely small change in reality.

We need to aim big or pack up imho!

NickB. Why don’t they look East. Must be huge opportunities in Asia and India. Small budgets.

USA market is more of an ambition than a reality!

Hence a 5p in the dog house share price.

I've been looking at the Blackbird website again and trying to think what my reaction would be as a potential customer. There's plenty of good, informative information. My inevitable "but" (and I am sure there are others)is their very short list of customers. Whilst Microsoft Azure, certainly, and Gfinity, quite likely, are impressive I'm not sure that for users in the USA the others would have much clout. Elsewhere they have case studies where, for example, Deltatre and MSG Group feature but they are certainly not headlined. Perhaps they don't want to be named but that seems unlikely as they are in the case studies. If the biggest market currently for FBT is the USA then it follows that the web presence should at least partly reflect that fact... and it wouldn't cost very much to make it do so.

The Turner contract Grabyo are highlighting was according to their website for the 2017/18 season. The season started with the first game on 17th October. I don't see how we can expect IM only weeks in place to have done anything about FBTs position at such short notice even if he had known about Turners negotiations with Grabyo in the USA. I'm not comparing IM with his predecessor because their skill sets are totally different... though I do wonder given the differences how the BoD can justify both choices other than saying they got one of them wrong.

blackbird codec is superior to whatever grabyo is running (standard non-frame accurate browser video codec) so why is grabyo winning business over blackbird?

1. convenience (runs purely in browser / no java install)?
2. more effective sales / marketing?
3. priced aggressively?
4. workflow / usability?
5. ... ???

first item definitely an issue as flagged at agm and is being addressed (java script client, can't arrive soon enough).

hopefully any other necessary ingredients will make it into the mix.

I believe the losses (bottom line) are greater under current CEO...

In my opinion the current CEO has done nothing to raise the profile of FBT and at a greater cost therefore as it stands has failed miserably in his quest to turn the trend of 'hiding this ‘light under a bushel’!

Aziz had never run anything of magnitude and had just done a worthless MA at Warwick (two a penny). He was all bluster and failed completely at everything he did.On top of that, we had to pay off 4 or 5 of his sales team. One of whom now sells wheat and commodities. Throw in Jason and basically within 18 months Max and Neil are the only two left from his reign. They then droped his two new flagship products and rebranded the core product again.Other than that, bloke was a success.Already IM has beaten his sales figures.
