Not institutional buying, I'm afraid.

Charles Stanley is a stockbroker and Rock Nominees holds shares for its private clients.

I think the link is mis-leading, what I think they are trying to say is that their year end date is 31 August and they will release their results in November. It is impossible for them to issue their year end results on 31 August, hence why I suggested a pre-close update in mid Sept, as per previous years.

Year end is August 31st. I'm expecting a pre-close update around mid September.

For TUNE fans - Launchpad Pro - a pro grade controller

It hooks into Ableton Live which is the premier computer sequencer used by Producers & DJs etc. Apart from that I think the point is some performance orientated DJs are starting to use this along side Pioneer CDJ decks or even instead of to add the extra live dimension. The DJ deck mkt is pretty binary with Pioneer dominating the pro hardware end - so if this becomes the preferred supplemental sequence/loop controller thats a lot of units globally. I wouldn't be surprised if Pioneer are watching closely.

It might well be a buying opportunity but i have as many as i'm prepared to take on board given the liquidity issues. I'm in deeper than i'd like to be already.

Very poor English bbd :O)

Last set of interims were very strong and the outlook statement sounded rather upbeat towards H2, broker EPS estimates are for EPS 12.80p for this year, TUNE achieved 7.3p in the first half so the broker estimate don't look that demanding imv.

They issued a trading update in mid September last year, I will look forward with interest.

Thanks Woody, I think investors will use the comparison they're both in the music industry 😜

It's fallen back quickly from the 350 level but nothing has changed imv, just the volatility has increased

very different business models. G4M is a internet retailer which is vastly overpriced imv. The recent TS looks very much like a veiled profit warning to me.
TUNE is a niche product market leader selling into amateur and professional musician sectors with a top class product range, no comparison as far as i can see.

bb2,

Agree re the G4M read-across albeit G4M is on a forecast forward P/E of 50 to 60 whereas for TUNE the forecast forward P/E is just over 20.

Bit of selling probably on the back of G4M
