Forward looking statement will be key.FTC always seems to get a run prior to results. We are getting the same again however this seems stronger than previous, suggesting someone accumulating or some corporate action is on the cards.

I wonder about that! If we had been well ahead of expected performance then a RNS should have been released, similarly if we had been behind.

I think the best we can hope for is performance on track along with a very positive statement for the new year.

I think we’ll see a trading update in the next few days; I’m expecting very positive news and forecasts.

Read that claim before john, but I don't believe it. It would still be insider dealing.

Besides when I tried to verify that in the past I could find no evidence whatsoever, I did however find a likely couple who also own a few racehorses.

My guess is they are a high net worth couple who enjoy a 'punt' - doesn't mean they are not astute, but I very much doubt there is any inside track to the Nokia relationship.

NO.

This latest ownership notice is from the Dixons (not the Newlands).
The have increased by only a relatively small amount - from 14.1% to 15.1%

Interesting still maybe, but not quite as profound.

I think they bought c. 2million shares so c. £150-160k

It looks like Mr & Mrs Newlands have more than doubled their stake since their last Holding Announcement in Jan 2019 ie it was approx. 12.750m shares (6.1% of total 208.128m) and now they have 31.5m shares (15.1% of total 208.775m)... wow :)

Mr & Mrs Newlands have increased their holding, that may be some of the buying the last few days.

I’ve also added as I think there’s a lot going on behind the scenes.

I could be wrong but I have a feeling that this share has been "walked up" in the last few days.If so, watch the price come right back down in a huury! Why do I say this -easy -from some of the names which are now suddenly appearing on this forum.

Interesting movement, but very difficult to know if this is simply a FOMO twitch on basis that it is possibly very oversold. I did well on this last year, though failed to sell on the 80% or so rise that I might have had, because saw this as a macro hold. I can't yet see sufficient clarity around earnings to give it any more than a speculative punt rating, but would be very happy to be shown otherwise.
