12/10/2020 11:57 | great looking chart and now a NOR situation. The chinese 50 index rising again today but a slight concern is that FCSS is not trading at a discount to NAV but this can happen in some Trusts . | arja
28/8/2020 14:43 | not reacting again but maybe sterling has risen against chinese currency ? ! | arja
17/8/2020 21:43 | It's gone up £1 since this date last year. That's not too bad. 30%+ rise ? And only got to about £1.80 in March. Depends what you are looking for but this is a ten year investment. For shorter term higher gains sell out and look elsewhere? | jfinvestments
14/8/2020 14:45 | FCSS again not reacting to big move in china indices ! better to trade the index I guess wth CFD contracts . | arja
29/7/2020 09:16 | chinese indices up about 2% since Uk close on tuesday and was hoping FCSS might hit about 305 today but seems unlikely . I suppose the FX movement has a bearing and maybe chinese currency is weaker against sterling | arja
21/7/2020 17:24 | .. possibly just the discount control buybacks ? [edit] ah no, confusing this with FAS. | cordwainer
21/7/2020 14:23 | old thread ? what are you on about ? funny goings on today with FCSS as almost half a million bid at 308.5 with just 2 buyers ! must be confident nobody will hit them | arja
20/7/2020 13:56 | why switch to an old thread ? | cordwainer
17/7/2020 06:39 | chinese 50 index now coming off but extremely volatile and a 300 point swing during the night I see . hate the wide spread if trading it with a CFD and rarely do so but heaos to be made if timing right ! | arja
13/7/2020 14:57 | why not try a CFD account cordwainer unless you plan to hold the stock for many months - no SD payable . | arja
10/7/2020 14:33 | (kinda off-topic) looking to at least take profits or sell half but fidelity log-in and dealing (including telephone dealing) is down. Unplanned, that is. I might switch, How is Interactive Investor these days ? | cordwainer

09/7/2020 09:56 | While this goes up China is having a horrible time. https://youtu.be/-HV | tonsil
09/7/2020 09:16 | not sure why it goes up when chinese indices falling or flat but maybe sterling weakened against the chinese currency ? | arja
06/7/2020 15:25 | going well and NOR situation ! | arja
24/6/2020 16:49 | @DEADLY... Not as good as JCGI - but that if you started a year ago... for recent investments might well end better that JCGI, especially in the months before USA election... | davvero
23/6/2020 09:42 | Good performance but not as good as JCGI. | deadly
04/6/2020 10:53 | ah! there it is, in todsys RNS | davvero

31/1/2020 03:17 | Now is most definitely not the time to be investing in China. Even the most optimistic forecast is controlling the virus in the next three months. When the rate of infections slows you can expect a relief rally, followed by the grim realisation that this was caused by one original infection and that it could begin spreading again until a vaccine is produced en masse. There will be an opportunity to buy but that time is not now. | andyj |
