spent a lot of time in Cornwall this Xmas, even down there FeverTree is the number one tonic. Gin bars opening up everywhere, one in St Ives had 180 gins for Gods sake !

Nobody seems to want anything else tonic wise.

From a chart pattern pov I'm not sure this will be a good short. It looks like it could soon close at an ath, so the price will be in blue sky with no historical resistance.

An eod close above the green trendline [neckline] would confirm an INVH&S, tp minimum approx 1250.

Didn't they recently try a stunt like this on BOO?

They were wrong there and I bet they're wrong here too.

Too much momentum in the share price to consider shorting. I think this will need some average news to slow /stop the momentum. I think Hotel Chocolat is far more vulnerable.

EK says short today.

I reckon there is some strength in the run up to Xmas and it is easy copy for journalists.

Made the mistake of top-slicing once, but never again!

There is no point in speculating about takeover and prices - it's all about whether the boys are having a great time. It will be an emotional decision. Forget the speculation.

Personally, I want it to run as an independent for a bit more.
It's been going 2 years since float; would like to see at least another 2 years before being sold, maybe 3. I think there's still a fair bit of growth left to go and wouldn't want someone else to have that...yet.

I'm a holder since £2. Its now a question of when, not if, that this company will be taken over.

The large piece about gin being up 10% on BBC this morning has done us a bit of good. They are saying the premium gins have taken off ,and of course you need a premium mixer errrr maybe Fevertree.

Sogo, thanks for the info.

Looks like it is going up so far today so no trade for me yet. Will the BR borrower have sold into the market yet, or do they wait for a 'good' time? I'm not really sure of the process myself. Anyone else know?

Will wait and see what happens later in the session. I have rechecked my trendlines for the Symmetrical Triangle and the apex based potential turn in the share price is tomorrow. I guess I should become a more little flexible.

Hi bamboo:
On past record there should be a Pre-Close Statement towards end of January 2017 (22nd last year).
Then the preliminary results would follow end March 2017 (23rd last year).

Sogo, thanks for the reply.

It's definately better trading with the dominant trend. I have been in and out of fevr twice before. Needless to say, I would probably have made more money with a buy and hold than trying to trade. Any idea when the next update is due? I'd guess xmas is the best time for sales.

I hope the price is subdued tomorrow/Friday, and I can start buying. I'll let you know!

Thanks your feed-back bamboo2.

Ah yes, I didn't see the Flag formation so clearly on my chart. Understood now.

This stock usually surprises to the upside. On a guesstimate of next year's earnings (2017) of around 32p the one year upside for me is between £12 and £16. But I see you are shorter term than that and brokers' forecasts for this year (2016) give 21p or thereabouts.

Indeed, over the last few months, Blackrock have been lending out quite frequently on this stock. Before the last Trading Update they lent out just under 1 million. So, as you say, someone not quite on the right side of history with this one ;-)

Of course, shorting will pressure the stock to the downside but then, as we've seen, the share price "pops" on news.

Good luck with your trade!

Hi Sogo, thanks for the comments.

I'm considering trading the flag, assuming an up breakout. This chart has a number of open breakaway gaps. I am assuming that the recent breakaway gap will remain open and act as support or it will become the stop out for the trade.

Tp is 1138 for an upbreak, so it is a worthwhile trade in % terms. Tp is based on a retrace low of approx 1039 [50% 0f the flagpole].

The prior Symetrical Triangle has its apex on Friday, and this often indicates a price turn. On this basis, I am hoping for a weak day tomorrow.

I notice Blackrock has lent out some shares, makes me wonder if the borrower has done their homework. :-0

These "small-cap" growth shares (low volume) are difficult to analyse in TA.

Is 1050p a bowl forming prior to further lift-off at next Trading Update?
Does short term downtrend from new high end round-about 975/980p?
Will there be a "gap-fill", below 975p?

The MACD is bullish.

On these questions downside looks like 975/980p (where there's volume) and upside is 1150p+

My simplistic analysis of future from the past!
