Marty,
The Parakeet needs feeding, otherwise it will not give you the right sign.

Make sure to give loads of seeds as Fevertree is heading to the upper clouds today

Wetdream the whole market seems to be in consolidation mode - which way will everything go - been a few profit warnings creeping in as well as director share sales elsewhere too.Apparently in 3 weeks the us tech sector reports - that should be the decider many think

I don't have a parrot, but I asked my asthmatic neighbours African Grey what it thought of the recent few days wicks poking through the lower trendline of the Ascending Triangle. He just coughed, in the same way as his owner.

I argued that with the apex on the 14th, a break one way or another should be imminent, but he just climbed down from the top of the cage, went in through the door and stared at me.

Was that parrot a fan of watching Squawk Box on CNBC?
{I know on a social media site there is a trader that quite successful at trading Light Crude Oil with a sun conure as a pet - I suspect they helped them with their alogrithms}

No point in telling you about the charts but.... I had a dream last night where a parrot said:

It should be a retrace to £17.10 as this is still in bullish territory.
It has broken through £17 this morning which means that there is great appetite for Fevertree shares.

RBC has upgraded Fevertree to £19.50

As you can see from the postings Fevertree is been tipped as a strong Buy by 3 brokers.

The ceo has already said that the expected results are comfortably ahead of expectations.

and to say the least about 13 business days left for the results announcenment
which is on 25 July.

The ball is on your court...a great opportunity to make money.

Marty,
What I want to put through is that Fevertree never changed from 2014 has grown and
became a brand.
One of the founders was a guest speaker in the SMT Awards for 2017.

Hi Sogoesit,
I guess it should follow that the current £17 resistance will eventually become support as the new buyers come in.
The share price chart picture from March seems to be repeating. Perhaps 'buy on rumour, sell on fact' is having an effect? That plus any surplus from Rolls's recent sale.
Even so-called momentum stocks like FEVR (and BOO) need to have periods of consolidation-much to the undoubted annoyance of 'investors' like christh(is that a robot?) ;-)

RBC CAPITAL RAISES FEVERTREE DRINKS TARGET TO £19.50 (£17.00) PENCE - 'OUTPERFORM'

wet dream:
The ceiling on Brokers' TPs is currently 1700p (Whitman Howard, Berenberg, RBC Capital).
The consensus Full Year forecast for EPS is 27.68p based on Revenue of £129.40m (growth of 27% for the year).

Last year's annual growth, as we know, was 70%+.
Such a dramatic reduction in growth does not add-up. 1700p is 61x the forecast EPS.
If it did "add-up" we would expect the share price to be lower since the change in growth rate would, imv, worry the market quite dramatically and the PER would be commensurately downgraded. If growth rates fell, and the PER adjusted accordingly, we would expect to see a current share price in the range of £10-£12.

My view is that Revenue, and EPS, are grossly under-estimated.
Wait for a broker to break ranks in the coming days prior to Interims!

FWIW my old forecast still stands and am looking for signs that half-year interims will exceed the current consensus forecasts.
I am looking for in excess of £70m Revenue and an implied EBITDA EPS of 22p.

On this basis my FY17 EPS looks like 38p to 40p.
Paying 60x that gives an upside target to £24 for the Full Year post 31 December.
(I admit that this is on the optimistic side but not overly so).

On friday 30 June closed at £17.05
And on Monday 3 July ended up at £17.05 having reached £17.22 high.
There is pressure to head higher and is likely to break through to £17.50
The results on the 25 July, will be a catalyst of hitting £18 and beyond
as the results will get more people and investment funds to buy more stock.
Already the ceo has said that "the results are comfortably ahead of expectations"
which could have double or trebled if you look at last years' results.

I am bullish and expect to get to £18.50 at least.

May also interest bidders for a takeover as the revenue increases beyond
the analysts expectations.

Jul 25, 2017 Interim Results 2017

2016 was another stellar year for Fevertree Drinks (LSE: FEVR) as the company notched up a 73% rise in revenue and 93% jump in EBITDA year-on-year. But it wasn?t this stellar growth that has me bullish on the premium drinks maker?s future. Rather, it was a single slide from the accompanying results presentation that showed the company now controls 22%-24% of the total mixer market by value in the UK.
On its own these may not seem like particularly important data points, but they are because they change one of the key assumptions that Fevertree went public on.
