I wouldn't be surprised if he wrote it himself. Either way, someone's been naughty...

Christh, whether it's a personal email or not, the company should not have told you a lot of the info in that email without letting the wider market know.

You won't get a straight answer. And I'll be surprised if he gives you the name of the contact who replied to his email.

this is a personnal email from me to the company regarding the scaremongering of the Nielsen data publicised and glorified by the shorters.

My concerns were:
Where it amounted to profits warning or any other uncertainty which caused the shareprice to fall?
Which he said, if there any problems will have been announced

Also replied to my conerns about the cause of shareprice fall as you can see from the above.

I posted it as received to calm fellow investors who were at the mercy of shorters and there many things posted here which was terrifying.
Very well organised raid on a good company, totaly unjustified.

As you can see the news was blown out of all proportions by the speculators and driven many to despair.
However this has been bolstered by the director buying £262,000 worth of shares which reinstated confidence in the company!

I hope that answers your post.

Hi Chris, can you repost the e-mail below with the Customer Relations Officer signature/name on please.

The company should NOT give individual investors updated news like this as per FCA HANDBOOK. The market as to be informed first and foremost.

Your help would be appreciated.

cheers 3rd eye

Dear Chris,

I would be very happy to discuss this further via a phone call. I can be reached on xxxxxxxxxx or I would be happy to call you if easier.

However, I would like to reiterate there is no profits warning. We are fully aware of our obligations as a listed company to provide updates to the market if there is a change in our trading outlook – no such announcement is required.

Regarding the share price, as the Bloomberg article alludes to “The plunge most likely reflects what Berenberg analyst Ned Hammond says has been a general shift away from highly valued growth stocks. Similarly richly rated companies, such as U.K. online retailers Asos Plc, Boohoo Group Plc and Ocado Group Plc, have also had a rough few days as equity markets have slid amid concerns about an economic slowdown and rising bond yields.”

In this type of situation, investors often look to switch out of equities and into bonds (as rising interest rates provide them with a less risky return) and therefore the higher valued stocks get impacted in the short term.

It remains very much business as usual from an operational point of view.

I can’t see the post but I imagine that it doesn’t make any sense and smacks of desperation and vulgarity for somebody who makes so much money the guy sure posts like a desperate individual never known anyone make cash and post like this guy does and I’ve been doing this a long time and Villa posts like a massive loser.

Yeah I bought back in today. 2500 shares. I've made about £2k so far. Not bad for a Morning's work don't you think? I'll sell them again at any hint of trouble to protect my profits. So you don't need to worry about my trading and portfolio, I have my strategies and they are working out fine so far thanks. I'm sorry but I'm not stupid enough to make predictions. I make calculated trades with defined entry and exit points. You might be right, the American markets may crash next week but you can't be certain. If you had more conviction you'd be shorting but you don't have the bottle. Now run along little troll lol lol lol pmsl
