I can see this drifting back towards pre- takeover speculation prices

So it's all your fault the price dropped 10% from opening? Thanks for stopping by. Please hang around as it sounds like you'll bring the same level of insight as Christh and the Coke fiend Orisander. And we all love their contributions

Nice update today.

It would appear my interest brings good luck.

I saw the products everywhere before Christmas and a good range of products also.

Can anyone confirm if it has plans afoot to move onto the main market?

DevalphaBased on that premise then nobody would be buying the shares.....but they are because of the growth potential. Why would somebody want to acquire FEVR after the gin bubble has burst?.Anyway, bad day for the market generally with strong sterling so let's see whether we bounce on some broker upgrades.DD

DD... Unilever, Diageo, Coca Cola, Pernod Ricard etc could all easily buy Fevertree but my view is that it makes no financial sense for any of them at the current price. Strong team to attack US and other major markets is the way forward for me.

Coventry!........cheeky git, think Chris is only about 15, had hoped he had sold up this morning so he could buy a new satchel with his £15 profit.Devalpha - Only have to acquire 51%, Diageo could buy this with their spare change (£2.6bn free cash flow).......personally not losing any sleep over pure speculation, more concerned about how FEVR plan to improve US sales......and what's the marketing spend likely to be!.DD

Chart hit [and exceeded slightly] INVH&S tp [2654] today.

The subsequent fall has left what looks to be a bearish engulfing candle that suggests downside to follow. However, a number of potential turns on the daily chart say that a downturn may well be short term, and that there will be a buying opportunity at some point tomorrow. Test of the 2300 gap perhaps?

I'm with you on this one, hence my rough analysis earlier today. If the growth holds up (no reason to think not) and the market is happy to pay multiples of 50-60x profits then we should see close to £30 this year.

I can't do it DD, I enjoy winding him up too much. By the way, he's now filtered you and says he's sent you to Coventry. What an awful fate!

Interesting reading through all today's posts. Why all the emotion around the short term daily share price? If we're serious about this investing game we should all be focussing on the business and not short term price movements. If they continue to grow rapidly, then the price will deliver over the longer term. That's what needs to be assessed....can the growth rate be maintained? As for takeover rumours....I just don't buy it at the price a major co. would need to lay out to acquire circa £3.25billion. Doesn't make sense for me.Assembling a strong team to make them serious players in the US however for me makes a lot of sense. Hopefully we've only seen the start of the assembling.

Fevertree's Feverish Valuation
Both the big beverage brands and consumer-goods companies are desperate to find new avenues for growth, and Fevertree might just be the sort of asset to put them on the right side of changing consumer tastes.

Unilever NV has been touted as a potential buyer after former executive Kevin Havelock joined Fevertree's board. While the company would fit with the consumer goods giant's tilt toward fast-growing millennial-friendly businesses, Unilever's focus so far has been in personal care, with its purchase of Dollar Shave Club and Korean beauty brand Carver. It's hard to see how Fevertree, with its connection to alcoholic beverages, would fit in with Unilever's focus on consumer wellbeing. The same would also go for Nestle SA.

There is potential to extend Fevertree's range of non-mixer beverages, such as cola and lemonade. That would be more consistent with the wellness agenda, and tap into some millennials' aversion to drinking.

Alternatively, Fevertree might appeal to a drinks maker like Coca Cola Co., Pernod Ricard or Diageo Plc, which recently bought Casamigos, a tequila brand backed by George Clooney.

sogoesitThanks wasn't really referring to the Unilever rumour or recent board appointment, I don't invest on rumour tbh.If Diageo acquired fever for instance then IMO it would not be a change in strategic direction at all, but a straightforward acquisition of a complimentary product, a potential win-win for overall sales growth and bottom line.....just think of the reduced costs and synergies, just my opinion.DDps Villa why don't you just filter?
