expect to recover by the end of the day.
The institutions as always will pile in.

It might close around £19.80

Already in the report that 56% of the sales are from abroad.
The production has doubled, the results are way ahead of expectations.

Results in January, will run to £30 as earnings are risen.

News on US performance needed. UK mkt not enough to sustain share price imho.

The news says that Artisan Partners bought 5.17%. The price would have plummeted if they don't. That's scary. (in the short term).
But I am not worried in the long term.

Artisan have bought a big chunk, so dropping the share price and a bit of verbal diarrhoea from press tipsters seems to have worked a treat in relieving PI's of some of their shares. Why would they stop now? if I was them I would carry on buying with this new market paradigm of the more we buy the further the share price falls ??

+ 1 on the Monster Beverage case study. Many similarities here with FEVR - brand, niche, driving growth in their market etc. Not saying it will be another 700 bagger but the growth opportunities are huge. And Monster didn't go up in a straight line either. I do think there are some shenanigans going on behind the scenes but as a long term holder I'm not really bothered.

Oriss - I don't think people have got much to say really, as we don't really understand the full meaning of the fluctuations? :-). It would be nice to think the share price will recover now these Artisan guys have taken a stake. Do people think that the MMs have been driving the price down to buy on their behalf, maybe? Guess people are a bit weary (and wary!) after the last 2 weeks of activity here. If I am being optimistic it feels to me as though the funds are trying to drive out PIs with tree shakes, if pessimistic then people here are getting jumpy. I hope it's the former!

I think the brand is a winner. The product is a winner. The timing is right. Marketing etc all spot on so far.Market opportunity massive. Only issues are the current rating is high and will they have problems growing too fast or will some proper competition emerge. The market is huge so should be room for several big players.

Read the case study on how monster beverage became a 700 bagger and how many well respected naysayers there were calling it a short. They thought energy drinks was a fad.You had to block out all that noise to reap the rewards. Is the market opportunity for fevr massive? Will the rewards be huge if it becomes popular in the us?

You can pay hundreds of thousands of pounds for a high end hi-fi system. Does that mean it will sound 100 times better than a £1k system? Of course not. As ever with premium products you can pay a lot more for a slight (but important to some) difference. I like their ginger beer which tastes much nicer to me than most alternatives that I have tried. As ever though each to their own...

Seeing as it is 6 o'clock somewhere I've just tried gin and tonic - one with fever's and one with a supermarket own brand. Not much difference which was surprising considering the success of FEVR. Tried both tonics on their own first and there was very little difference. Credit to the Company for getting away with it for as long as they have - their ad people deserve a bonus.

RBC said 1 day before the update to sell (de facto from a TP of 2400 to 2000) and now after outstanding news reiterates same target price.
They look silly.
You can't say 2 months ago that Fevr is worth 2400 and then say 2000 and reiterate 2000 after being wrong.
They lost all credibility.
It's a trader mentality and too focused on short periods of time. It's a shame.

Buying up plenty of the FT Mediterranean while over here. But Sydney's not a great G&T centre-yet ;-)

Panic Investor,
I agree. The idea of long term individual stock investors (excl funds) is probably a bit outdated nowadays.
Apart from christh, I'd think most posters here are well in profit....
;-)
If FT can make good progress in the US, then imho they've cracked it!

That about sums it up but also no news at all before January so people move off to make hay elsewhere then come back here in the new year - seen it so many times before
