05/1/2018 13:17 | The Nov trading update ended with: 'Given the strong performance in the period to date, the Board anticipates that the results for the full year ending 31 December 2017 will be materially ahead of current market expectations.' So-the questions once again are 'How far ahead?' and 'What were/are market expectations?' | wetdream

04/1/2018 12:18 | What I particularly like about the range of Tonic Waters is there are options for avoiding HFCS. Many non-diet drinks contain this, in addition to sugar. High Fructose Corn Syrup is a no-no for many special diets. eg FODMAP In my experience, diabetics drinking G&T's will mostly be quite aware of, and make allowances for the carbohydrate content of both their gin and tonic. | bamboo2
04/1/2018 08:59 | Re post 1484 FEVR does not produce any sugar free products as that would involve artificial ingredients The 'light' products are reduced sugar | terry topper

02/1/2018 15:40 | reasearch is the key to investment. Fevertree Drinks : Forget Bitcoin bubble - will Fevertree go pop? 19/12/2017 Richard Watts, who runs the 3.2 billion pound Old Mutual UK Mid Cap Fund and is the biggest institutional shareholder of Fevertree, topped up his holdings in the company in the last 4-5 weeks. "We think there are significant amounts of upside left in the shares," he said. He said Fevertree's sales momentum is exceptionally strong as its mixers are stocked in more UK locations in the on-trade (e.g. bars, restaurants) and off-trade (e.g. supermarkets, shops), and gain more shelf space at retailers. Britain is Fevertree's largest market. RBC Capital Markets put its contribution to the company's organic revenue growth at more than 50 percent since 2015, accelerating to more than 60 percent since the second half of 2016. This performance, helped by a premium gin boom, shows no sign of abating. UK sales increased more than 100% in the first half of 2017 - and against a robust prior year level. Watts said the international business is growing at a very healthy clip, too. READ IT HERE AND MORE | christh
02/1/2018 15:39 | I'm in complete agreement with you. I've posted my own anecdotal evidence on here. What I don't subscribe to are the comments like "Fevertree have had an exceptional xmas period" based on a trading update from November. | villarich
02/1/2018 15:12 | Villarich, I guess it depends as to how much you can project up the anecdotal evidence of posters, of supermarket shelves being empty etc as good/'exceptional' perhaps, or simply poor distribution arrangements/ shortage of stock. The co. will obviously know their own sales but will need IRI to tell them their market share performance. Exceeding mkt expectations (whatever they are) in the US would be the main impetus behind a jump in the share price imho. As a holder, I take some comfort that the major shareholders have not reported selling down their holdings-apart from the founders.... | wetdream |
