26/1/2017 10:50 | Been in FXPO since the 30's this cycle. Haven't always timed buys and sells very well, though am well up. Better to buy and leave well alone - less stress that way. | bellbottom
26/1/2017 10:47 | The usual up and down, yo-yoing, combined with sentiment and general mining sector stuff. If you're lucky enough to have some spare cash to invest, then the dips are a nice buying opportunity. I am still not 100% behind FXPO, even though I buy/sell almost every week and have been adding to my SIPP. Purely down to experience over the last few years and the sudden shocking news items that have hit this share, knocked it back only to see it rise again on strength of product and general upturn in mining sector - which was due in any case - all cyclical. I am continually expecting some shocking news - as in the bank shut down - but no news is good news on that front - but doen't expect a comfy ride from here on in. Expect the occasional shocker. Ukraine economy still in a mess, Russia still playing games in the east, and Zhevago has a lot of irons in a lot of fires. But if you can stick it long term then we should be quids in - 2019/2020 should see us back in divi territory. I have been in EMED for many years - sat patiently and now enjoying a steady rise and profit as ATYM. I'll be doing the same with FXPO unless any bad news is super bad! Good luck. | bellbottom
26/1/2017 10:41 | No offence taken by the way. The fact is Telbap and others on here have been right time and time again and Ive made a fortune in FXPO. So....thats why Im pretty relaxed about adding like this. | gilesgraves
26/1/2017 10:36 | I am for real. And yes Im both of those things. I happen to think its the right advice though. Im not a complete moron (sometimes) | gilesgraves
26/1/2017 10:07 | Are you for real Giles ??? You're either a newbie and or very easily lead, or both. No offense intended. | mreasygoing
26/1/2017 09:50 | OK, I will add. Thanks | gilesgraves
26/1/2017 09:44 | General mining sector, don't worry, will be back up later /tomorrow, just market movements today. | telbap
26/1/2017 09:38 | Anybody got any clues as to why we are experiencing this pull back today? | gilesgraves
26/1/2017 08:15 | 150 and hold today. | telbap
25/1/2017 14:39 | Bought another 30000 today into various places | pbutterworth1
25/1/2017 10:00 | Im in and out like vanessa Mae's elbow. Sold at that big spike and looking to get back in. | gilesgraves
25/1/2017 09:49 | I bought in my SIPP another 9,500 of these yesterday. Nice to see a four figure (paper) profit already today. I will still deal these in my trading account as they have been yo-yoing around and too many good opportunities to to make a bit of beer money on the side. Keep taking the pills. | bellbottom
25/1/2017 09:29 | OK I will listen to you guys. Back in | gilesgraves
25/1/2017 08:40 | 200p at least | pbutterworth1
25/1/2017 08:37 | Ahhhh Giles, the lure of the 150p ;-)I am sitting tight on SB position plus sipp hold......look again at 175. | telbap
25/1/2017 08:37 | Giles - The interesting thing is that all investors know about the possible share sale but are buying anyway. Not the time to sell IMHO - Good luck all | pbutterworth1
25/1/2017 08:10 | OK Ive just sold out at 149. Watching closely. | gilesgraves
24/1/2017 16:48 | Good close, held yesterday's increase and added, well back I to up trend now, woo hoo! | telbap
24/1/2017 15:44 | To sum up, don't worry, even if they sell, the share price will likely drop again, and then recover. There is no given that they will sell, now or in the near future. Then again wtfdik!! | telbap
24/1/2017 15:41 | Giles.....it was not a placing of new shares.....just a technique to sell existing shares in one lump at a fixed price. Othwise it would take weeks to sell 69m shares in the market and the price average would almost certainly be less. note the shares in float are the same now as before the "placing" Was a big fireworks show for what was simply a large one off sale of shares from one entity to another.Rns from 28th Oct 2016.....Wigmore Street Investments No. 3 Limited (the "Seller"), announces that it has sold an aggregate of 63 million ordinary shares of Ferrexpo plc (the "Company"), representing approximately 10.7 per cent. of the Company's existing issued ordinary share capital, at a price of 110 pence per share (the "Placing") raising aggregate gross proceeds of approximately GBP69 million.Following settlement of the Placing, which is expected to take place on 1 November 2016, the Seller will hold approximately 13.2 per cent. of the Company's existing issued share capital. The Seller has agreed that it will not, for a period of 90 days following the completion of the Placing, offer, sell or otherwise transfer any shares from its remaining shareholding in the Company. The Seller is a subsidiary of CERCL Holdings Limited, a joint venture between the BXR Group and Mr. Zdenek Bakala and his family interests | telbap
24/1/2017 10:13 | I did not realise that telbap. So when it happens does it have to go through at 110 and therefore bring the share price down to that? Thats what I had thought. I don't like the idea of it hanging over our heads for an unknown amount of time into the future.... | gilesgraves
23/1/2017 17:27 | Excellent close, now let's see if we hold of to gains and add to them tomorrow. | telbap
23/1/2017 16:00 | Giles and butters.....it matters not. All short term drops will be more than made up for in the medium term...I just added some in my sipp, will top up again if the share price dips after Wednesday. Don't forget, Wednesday is the first day they could sell, does not mean they will, possible for a long, long time. | telbap
23/1/2017 15:44 | Couldnt wait. I am back in | pbutterworth1
23/1/2017 14:31 | Yes wednesday I have noted as well. I am de-risking today as I felt a little sick on friday but just kept reminding myself it always does that on a friday.i had too much on and if it does re-trace to 110 for example I would be far too exposed. That said, its just a case of waiting for the placing to be confirmed and then Im happy to be LONG | gilesgraves |
