Basstrend. Ed has said he’s had chances to buy FFWD shares but wanted to wait until he could buy a sizeable amount………even though he’s bought lots of £10k tranches of his other directorship. He was also with FFWD for just under 3 years before he was given a seat with Leap. I wouldn’t put it past him to achieve his hope of a £50m mcap by simply creating more shares. It’s still all
Eyes on Leap.

The news flow continues on many fronts with value being added by the portfolio of investments. The new cannabis strategy is working really well demonstrating how quickly value can be added in the pre IPO space that can’t be accessed by PI’s. That was the original purpose of FFWD and it is very pleasing that Ed is now doing what it said on the tin.

Ed cannot buy FFWD shares until Leap Gaming has completed IPO. He is on the Leap BOD preparing the IPO and is therefore inside. He has stated he will buy as soon as he is able to. If he did so now it would be illegal.

Having been a holder since before it was called FFWD quite frankly nothing surprises me about this share which constantly defies logic. It does however look as if I will not be surprised,but if one looks at how quickly it can rise with the rise in February to 15p being the most recent example, a surprise is still possible!
I imagine Ed must be really p…ed off,having achieved a £1 million profit on LGP in a very short space of time and there is no market interest. Very frustrating.

Volume has reached 1 million with Buys exceeding Sells 9:1 but the share price has not exceeded the opening price. Massive discount to NAV and a lot of news that could land any day. It will be very surprising if we are not much higher by the end of June.

This is very much a ‘hiding in plain sight’ investment in my opinion. To be able to enter at these levels is fantastic. I feel If the mkt cap was $300m or even $400m it would be no surprise to the cannabis sector. Paper gains of circa £1m currently for #FFWD

These were my comments yesterday in response to Forthewin who I see as a deramper:

The relevant accounts to look at are the FFWD accounts. The last interim accounts valued FFWD’s Leap shares as at 30/9/20 at £7.3 million. We know Leap is growing at pace signing new clients regularly and it’s importance to IMG Arena which owns 22% of Leap and has also been growing quickly and gaining value as part of Endeavour.. If you have sold because of your view of Leap’s value that’s fine and good luck with your new investment. But really it is of no interest to this board that you have sold and one has to wonder why you wish to deramp the value of Leap. I suspect you won’t have to wait too long to realise how much money you have missed out on by selling now.

I seem to remember in the Q&A where Ed said the market cap would be £50 million he said this would largely be achieved by Leap and EMMAC. Soon after that EMMAC was sold which just leaves Leap. If you do the maths we should get upwards of £25 million from Leap. Time will tell but I see no reason why Ed who sits on Leaps board would mislead us.

Just remember Emmac everybody got their hopes up it would float for a billion and in the end they got a small amount for it.

Better off trading, make a million here or there while retaining a overall holding in these stocks.
