28/6/2021 07:51 | Looks like FFWD did exactly what I suggested and it's just basic common sense trading which is sell down a big holding when there is huge demand and a huge spike in price and put the money to use elsewhere and hopefully trade that too. They do not need to tie up too much in LGP so they should trade that placing punt if the price remains 30% higher and take a quick £500k profit and move to the next punt. | dave4545
25/6/2021 13:00 | News report from 22/6/21 London-listed gaming operator 888 Holdings has extended its partnership with Leap Gaming to introduce new virtual sports games on 888sport. Leap Gaming already provides its games to 888casino and will now roll out its 3D virtual sports portfolio with 888sport, including football, tennis, horse racing, greyhounds, trotting, speedway and velodrome titles. “At 888, we are focused on offering our customers an engaging portfolio of games in a safe environment,” said 888 senior vice president of B2C Guy Cohen. “We are impressed with Leap Gaming’s wide range of high-quality virtual sports games and delighted we have added them to our platform for our Sport customers to enjoy. We look forward to developing our relationship in the future.” Leap Gaming head of customer success Andreea Spiteri commented: “We are thrilled to be able to build on our existing partnership with 888, one of the world’s leading online gaming and entertainment solutions providers. “Our virtual sports games, already available on 888casino, will soon be offered to 888sport customers. This is a great opportunity to bring exciting games to scores of fans across the UK and Europe.” | 888icb
25/6/2021 12:45 | It’s a great price if Leap doesn’t float as its a massive discount to NAV now without any uplifts for ipo’s at Leap and JUV! | 888icb
25/6/2021 12:21 | Shows the merits of selling while the going is good and use the money to invest elsewhere. Probably explains the weakness here, can buy around 8.1p atm That might be a great price if Leap finally floats...if | dave4545
25/6/2021 12:11 | Portage has halved in the last week due to deeply discounted share issue so it will be interesting to see if FFWD took up any of the new shares. | bagpuss lives
23/6/2021 23:08 | There are many long term holders here waiting for Leap. It’s probably the last chance of a big boost that could move the share price before it becomes a cannabis fund. More of a steady slow burner then…..though it’s hardly been even that over the years. | mellonsbellend
23/6/2021 18:25 | 888 I agree with your #13056: it certainly reflects my position waiting for the Leap liquidity event before I cash in. Now that the change in FFWD’s investment approach has been clearly stated, I can’t see their exit strategy from the new portfolio. So other than spreading risk in medical cannabis investment, there’s nothing more here to attract investors like me. Here’s hoping that Leap will have been worth waiting for. I expect so, and don’t think we will have to wait too long now. | yogaboy
23/6/2021 11:23 | Some huge institutional raises within the #FFWD PF announced in last 2 days LGP $27 million Insilico $255 million Portage $200 million This not only demonstrates the growth of the companies we are invested in but also shows how much cash we need in order to take meaningful stakes in companies in this sector and to participate in the further fund raises which occur regularly. | 888icb
23/6/2021 10:33 | Ian Burns continued, "We are positioning the company, which was originally incorporated in 2006, for the next exciting phase in its development, by bringing its constituent documents up to date to reflect changes in company law and into line with current market expectations, readying it for future investment, including from institutional investors should NAV and market cap develop as hoped." I think this statement shows that the Company intends to seek institutional investment once it gets the market cap above £50 million which tends to be the point at which institutions will invest. It looks like a good plan as the company refocuses after the Leap sale and should provide an exit at a good price for those who don’t want to continue down the Cannabis route or just want to realise some profit. | 888icb
22/6/2021 20:59 | I think that was before the Factom £5m investment was written off. | mellonsbellend
22/6/2021 19:54 | I'm pretty sure from memory when FFWD was in the 11-15p range Portage was in the 5-15 range. Now FFWD is in the 8-9 range Portage is in the 30-40 range There's just no logic anymore but I guess because the stake is quite small it makes little difference to FFWD unless a massive move up or down. | dave4545
22/6/2021 19:26 | Portage sinking | phurley
22/6/2021 18:01 | Well they still have a few million left so probably for future raises. Yes anything raised at less than NAV around 11.5p will dilute the shares. | mellonsbellend
22/6/2021 17:28 | what's this resolution 4 and 100 percent new shares mean, its not dilution is it ? | monkeymonkey
22/6/2021 16:02 | It’s the gift that keeps giving. That news was known everywhere pre FFWD RNS and they still sold this morning. This will be the aim stock to be in the rest of year. | dillondon1
22/6/2021 15:10 | News out, looks good. DC | daicaprice
21/6/2021 11:18 | Hitting the road shortly for a four day break and a spot of fishing but looking good today with Winterflood and Shore Capital having joined Peel Hunt on the bid since the open. I suspect we will see 9p being paid again today if buying continues. | the skipper
18/6/2021 15:02 | Haha Dave4545 so true. Couldn’t buy a sausage then voila. It’s a wonderful thing there are idiots within all aim stocks. | dillondon1
18/6/2021 11:53 | We've been here before dave and there will be people relieved to get out of jail all the way back up. Let them sell to provide the liquidity necessary to make a market, I've no doubt that sitting tight here will be rewarded, as will buying the dips. | the skipper
18/6/2021 11:27 | Here's a plan When mm's have zero stock to offer everybody sell, better still set up a direct debit with the market makers and make a weekly payment to them rather than trade shares. Then you do not need to watch shares all week. Point I'm making is people paying 9p then no stock offer and now others selling at 8.5p bid mm's must be laughing at this, all those penny stocks and this happening none stop all day, how many billions a year must they suck out from UK punters | dave4545
