well, I don't see the sense in it. If the new company is listed in London it just means extra dealing costs for us and management/listing costs for the company, but if it's not listed here it's potentially a major inconvenience. If FFWD doesn't want to sell a company to raise cash, why wouldn't it keep it in its own portfolio?

The in specie distribution, imho, does make sense although a uncommon method. FFWD would issue stock to holders as a dividend but retain the cash in the business for further future investments - after all, this is their primary purpose

It is interesting that they have issued this cryptic email covering the range of the companies investments. There is going to be a lot of activity in the near future and I will be very interested to see the amounts raised by the disposals. We are going to become more focused in the future so not so many irons in the fire but if we back the right one then may be the rewards will be much greater. Interesting times ahead!

As said, quite cryptic but beneficial nonetheless. I would be concerned about an early exit from Yooya as this has massive potential but the Bod obviously are the experts and any realisation at a huge premium would I guess very acceptable. They are many steps ahead of the game here with future tie ups/investments already determined......a good management team to have.

Meaning that the company would, share out, give individuals ,us, shares ?? as opposed to selling them .

WHat's the point of distribution in specie? That's an unnecessary complication for holders - if the company is worth holding let FFWD hold onto it.

Market Update



The Board of FastForward is pleased to provide the following strategic update to its shareholders.

1. The Company believes that there are exceptional opportunities available to it in the gaming technology sector. These opportunities are available to the Company largely because of the network of the Company's Board of Directors, advisers and large shareholders. The Company believes that the gaming technology sector has very positive macro-economic characteristics and represents a very significant growth opportunity;

2. The Company is currently carrying out due diligence on a number of new investments in the gaming technology sector and expects to announce new investments in the relatively short term;

3. The Company is exploring adding additional gaming expertise and experience to its Board of Directors;

4. The Company believes that almost all of its current investments are significantly ahead of plan and have a realisable value in the long term which is greater than and in some cases significantly greater than their current carrying value

5. Specifically, the Company believes its investments in Biotechnology, education technology, and its investment in Yooya could yield significant returns in the near term. Exit opportunities on favourable terms are under review for these investments. With respect to Education Technology the Board is exploring strategic alternatives which could allow FastForward shareholders to enjoy benefits from ownership in a stand-alone Education Technology vehicle, potentially by way of distribution in specie.

More information on all of these developments will be made as and when appropriate.

It was interesting to read the Amphion RNS regards the impending flotation of their main company. There will be fireworks here when eventually the likes of Yooya, Vemo and Leap Gaming are developed to a similar position.

Lol, I seem to remember now you mentioned something along those lines. It's worth keeping hold of though as it's the type of stock that remains dormant for ages and spikes when you least expect it. I'm mainly there for the blockchain interest to be honest.

VELA is currently in my dog drawer flash, I'm sitting on a reasonable loss - so if you can do anything to ramp up the share price I will be very grateful !!:-)

On a conciliatory note would be interested to hear any views you may have kristini on VELA. A similar animal in which I have a much smaller holding but intending to add. Also have you had any dabblings in VELA ,db.

Anyway differences aside and as you say k, concentrate on db's posts which are indeed constructive and very helpful. If you do decide to take a position then welcome aboard.

Of course I have a position here but what I don't care for is a blatant attempt to get the share price down in order to get one's position. Futile of course and soooo obvious.
