so now we are rockhopper and await some positive results on this drill....i also feel quite strongly that there will be a rebound effect regarding current market oil price some time later this year.

The two will always hover around this price but the 0.2993 RKH for each FOGL should stick.

No, The Rkh bid was a share exchange, a value of 10p was never guaranteed. But my post was referring to the arbitrage opportunity which allowed Rkh shareholders to sell their stock at 28p and then immediately repurchase at 24p in the form of FOGL shares. Alternatively, investors who wanted to start a position in Rkh, or add to an existing position in Rkh, had the opportunity to purchase the appropriate number of FOGL shares and thereby enter Rkh at the equivalent of 24p or even slightly less ! Never have I seen such a glaring anomaly in good size, and the anomaly was there for several days. Am amazed that institutional investors did not take advantage of it, but I suppose that they were too busy with their Christmas parties !
