04/11/2015 16:04 | The daily volume's been fairly good since the RNS. -and you can't sell if you don't have a buyer. | agnabeya
04/11/2015 14:59 | Ariesr....oh, hell yeah! :) | agnabeya
04/11/2015 14:54 | "Only a year ago we were being told the North Sea was finished. What we are told changes with the direction of the political wind that's blowing. IMHO" I'm with you on that one. This issue was discussed again during last years referendum in Scotland. | ariesr
04/11/2015 14:04 | not from where I'm sitting! | west4
04/11/2015 13:29 | We know chrisc, and your point | efagie
04/11/2015 13:18 | This re-drill is a free carry. | chrisc168
04/11/2015 12:37 | Isobel was the main play with humpback as the possible icing.. Unless they drop the price of the rig by a large amount doubt more to be done in izzy this time, though don't discount a deal with noble for a pl05 drill should izzy prove good. Would think they would avoid another rkh/pmo deal there. | efagie
04/11/2015 12:28 | Izzy has to be worth something - especially if it comes in bigger than Sealion.. but surely its gonna need proper appraisal.. I wonder if it is epic, they might consider a couple more drills after rhea... but how do FOGL afford it? hmm never straight forward..lol | robpuguk
04/11/2015 11:54 | I was amazed people were buying this after knowing the Humpback result. Likely to lose 50% on buying. Crazy. Why do people do that? | whoppy
04/11/2015 10:43 | This has 10p written all over it. Let's hope Isobel is massive and contains trillion barrels of high quality oil. | chrisc168
04/11/2015 06:31 | ariesr - I was at a Nexen (Buzzard) works night out around 2008 - where the company's progress was being reported - and that the Buzzard was pumping enough to help meet all the oil needs of the UK. It was pumping around 240,000 barrels a day but slowed down while a sweetening unit was being installed. I don't know what it's up to again at the moment. Only a year ago we were being told the North Sea was finished. What we are told changes with the direction of the political wind that's blowing. IMHO | agnabeya
03/11/2015 23:10 | Hmmm.....I thought uk had become net importer of oil since 2005? | ariesr
03/11/2015 22:50 | Funny, I thought we were over supplied and that was part of the reason for the fall in price. | agnabeya
03/11/2015 22:40 | Tongosti...thanks. I've promised myself I'll get out of AIM after this campaign. We'll see. I 've said that before. :) | agnabeya
03/11/2015 19:58 | Agna mate - thanks for your thoughts. It's been a pleasure exchanging views on this board and I hope our paths will cross again in what is this AIM jungle! All the best. | tongosti
03/11/2015 19:45 | Tongosti....sorry see you lost. Whatever you've done it's got to be what's good for you. Although I sold before the RNS I probably bought back in a liitle too soon. My ISAs have taken large paper losses...but I'll wait it out until they at least recover. All the best mate. | agnabeya
03/11/2015 19:00 | Well, it's been quite a journey boys and girls. I wished it would have turned out differently but it was not meant to be!Walked out of FOGL as soon as the markets opened after the disappointing RNS. I cannot see the share price go north from here unless some really unexpected news (eg. FOGL being bought out; Isobel / Zeb containing twice what is expected etc) comes out. As George Soros said: money is made by discounting the obvious and betting on the unexpected. The obvious is Zeb and Isobel which the market has already discounted. No doubt about it. The unexpected - no idea where it may come from at this stage so...regretfully... I am out!GLA | tongosti
03/11/2015 17:21 | golden cross? nowhere near one. | efagie
03/11/2015 17:17 | 8p before I hope long... | oakville
03/11/2015 17:12 | Ngms....ER moving in the last 20 minutes at 1.5nm. It still hss it's destination marked as humpback. | agnabeya
03/11/2015 16:46 | Bullish golden cross maybe time to go long now | investment dave
03/11/2015 12:57 | Ngms On AIS ER is still over humpback with restricted manoevrability. Have you access to a better source of info? AIS is ok, but certainly not definitive. :) | agnabeya
03/11/2015 12:21 | The ER's left humpback in the last few hours. Probably 4 to 5 days before Izzy spuds | ngms27
03/11/2015 11:55 | Is the ER on station yet? | daithedeath |
