02/12/2015 04:12 | hi chris...i dont hold bor but that is sitting so low theres no point in selling ....again a waiting game. seems like fogl shareholders are offloading and i imagine lots have jumped ship and lost their patience....ha i dont really blame them however i do feel strongly that they will sooner or later live to regret abandoning ship. oil will flow.....i think 450 mmbls strike just around the corner and thats a nice chunk going to fogl when production finally arrives.....january will become the turning point and right now theres no point in doing anything because this deal will most definitely go through regardless at the said stated priceing. thefore the current fluctuation priceing on both rkh and fogl are totally irrelevant. bandit. | oilbandit
01/12/2015 13:13 | I will Agna, every bit of it :) | robpuguk
01/12/2015 11:40 | Rob, it won't belong before they are buying you pressies instead - so enjoy this bit. :D | agnabeya
30/11/2015 20:55 | Oilbandit: couldn't agree more; the true benefit to the two companies will be revealed in time; the fogl holders if they hang on in could well benefit fairly soon, but, like BOR, it could be the slightly longer game, but I think once the FI area gets fully active it might well mushroom, especially if Argentinian landfall reduces the processing/storage/l What is your view of BOR? | christy27
30/11/2015 19:29 | the deal was a very cheap grab for rkh considering the amounts of oil and gas fogl already sat upon ....also what i dont understand is why didnt fogl wait until this last drill phase? why wait untill results after all elections and drilling has been finalized in january? i think this is a shake down.....these are a gift at these prices this can only quadruple if this drill strikes on the end of the sea lion extention. therfore although a cheap grab by rkh i think its a sensible move by fogl being that they will also be part of full extraction production in 2017. thats when i see the newly formed rkh fogl premier merger all come to fruition. boy i could write a book holding these shares for so long....what a journey. patience of a saint....HOLDING.... any thoughts lads and ladies? bandit. | oilbandit
30/11/2015 17:04 | The December oil stock challenge is on. Deadline for entries is midnight tonight... Good luck. fb | flyingbull

30/11/2015 16:11 | Rob...thought you'd be happy and filling yer boots at these prices? :) I reckoned 12p on a duster at hempy....shows what I know. Back to the waiting game it is, then......GLA | agnabeya
30/11/2015 13:50 | So now we're knocking on the door of the 8p's... :-/ Now the two company's are tied effectively pricewise - FOGL is a slightly cheaper way in.. but risk if deal doesnt go thru what then? So safer to buy thru rocky i guess. Not that I dont see it completing, dont see a better deal coming along either. | robpuguk
29/11/2015 23:23 | So $150 million for Humpback....how much at todays drilling rates.....correct me if i`m wrong | rumblefish
28/11/2015 16:29 | agna: solid clues coming out seems zero....this is a very rare thing methinks, certainly nothing material or of substance will emerge until after the RH do in Dec. | christy27
28/11/2015 13:40 | hxxp://uk.businessin It's pretty horrific when you think on it. :( | agnabeya
28/11/2015 13:31 | Christy, regarding if anyone knows what went on downhole - For me the results we've had compared to the preceding ramping posts, And the merger coming out of leftfield like that, Says nobody knows nuthing! :D | agnabeya
28/11/2015 13:27 | Christy, CFK was very popular with the poor in the past couple of years as she blew every penny they had in handouts for them. I din't argue with that in principle, but like Chavez before her, did nothing to support the infra structure of what she was eroding. Times are going to be harder than they were in Argentina, and it's really a bit of apoisoned chalice Macri has won. At least he seems to get the need for good international relationships, and the sorting out of their currency restrictions. I think if the oil in the FI is as good as they thought, the expenditure on St Helena will have been prudent. Just in case we have other countries to worry about. I think it might be a much longer term plan for Saint than we think. Whackford.....yup. Changed days. I'd be ecstatic if they reach half that now. | agnabeya
28/11/2015 09:49 | Just clearing out some old papers in view of the impending RKH/FOGL merger. I see that Investors Chronicle had a full page in its 8-14 January 2010 edition given over to one of its "Tips of the Year 2010". The tip was "Buy FOGL" at 136.25p. How things change! | whackford
28/11/2015 00:14 | agna: no......companies motivated only by commercial imperatives....thoug Yeah CFK being replaced by Macri is good for business.....rubbish for ordinary folk though....she did a lot for the workers hence the bad local press.....her only way to keep that going was try to play a "national unity" ploy and engage any adversary.....we were simply a means to an end I think........this was recognised by white collars and ditched pdq after the election......what surprised me was Cameron not getting that and spending so much dosh on St Helena prematurely. Heard today that capex is massively down in exploration support companies until 2017 then demand is expected to balloon for exploration. Does anyone know if they had a GeoSphere down humpy, cos that would have had a live feed to analytics computer and geo at HQ........hence the deal? | christy27
27/11/2015 13:27 | Christy, I'm delighted to see the back of CFK for so many reasons Not least the end -hopefully- of all that jingoism. Macri seems like a rational person, let's just hope whoever he deals with from the UK is equally rational. I'm happy enough with the deal. If they'd announced their cash position without the buffer of the merger to soften the blow- the market would'nt have been kind IMHO Edit: do you think we can hope for more transparency now from the companies? I'm pretty sure now that Ovets47 was right enough....and in that case, hopefully some of the political motivation of the news releases will have changed in our favour. | agnabeya
27/11/2015 13:12 | Imv,RKH got us on the cheap.FOGL shareholders ultimately left to suffer the consequences. | imperial3 |
