Someone who attended the general meeting today got it from RKH Board of Directors.

I see the other BB are claiming more BOP failures as a certainty.
Is there a credible source for these claims?

ha i love ya chris...but im not blowing any kisses.....im just numb all over mate and flabbergasted at how all this has disgustingly played itself out?

it could go iether way...however it now seems on the cards that fogl will now end up becoming rockhopper as did desire became fogl and we have all ended up called rockhopper....bizarre or what?

predictions of oil prices for 2016 i feel a rise simply because of war.

also ive always believed that the falklands will eventually become an oil province especially now theres also been a new president in argentina.

surely all this cannot go to waste after all companies involved and research efforts for it would be such a tragedy and injustice for i have been holding onto my dream for 17 years and i will not sell until oil is eventually extracted and i reap my well deserved rewards.

i lost 50 k on the oil to water scenario regarding desire therefor i have no choice but to sit and wait.
i was 38 years old when i bought into this farce and im 55 in the new year.
and i have my walking stick already made and waiting......

now thats patience for ya dont you agree chris.

hats off to all holders....i feel for you all i really do.

r.n.s.....or is it....r.i.p

Bandit: this is bizarre cos, as you say the purchase is pretty certain to go through at 10.7p........so what a bonkers thing to do and sell at these daft prices.

I could be wrong, but could the OPEC/USA/Russia game have more than one financial motive.......more towards steering certain behaviours with a longer term aim/gain in sight.....than immediate greed.......If I am right it will almost certainly backfire and we'll have a rampant "go" after the "Stop" fails to oblige; mainly because of pig headed intransigence, At that point or shortly after we will gain from our patience.

Additionally the damage being inflicted on renewables by the current poo will make oil demand much greater for a decade or so, when the big money decides "expansion" will solve their problems, following loads of war destruction, and the rebuild opportunities this brings.

Or.......until social media inspires enough people to resist being ripped off and manipulated by the energy utilities, ultimately global warming will remove some options, we can't go on messing up the climate, nature has a way of punishing even the cleverest.

Miracle tea all round then!

FOGL 6.95p bid divided by 0.2993 = 23.22p RKH equiv.

Yes, I make the FOGL close price equal to a post-deal 19.9p RKH share. RKH are actually at 26p or 30% more !

Is there such a risk that this deal will fail?

I make it 10% cheaper to buy this ,than RKH ,on the bid terms!

6.5p-25.75p

0.3x25.75=7.7p on bid terms.

Hocus pokus suggests low price for lengthy time. So cheap more demand stimulated and producers explorers desisted.
2016 pop up might just happen as might $30 bust.

Looks like everybody in FOGL has lost big time. Even after Humpback result it's kept on falling. Oil next year will probably go sub $20. Back to the old days of when oil was $10 a barrel and they abandoned drilling in the Falklands.
whoppy
