13/7/2004 13:51 | Given that this company has maintained a healthy price growth on it shares despite small trades I see a very bright future indeed. Some excellent JV announcements and the mineral potential appears sound and offers large returns once established and mining starts up. I am still on a learning curve in regards to share dealing but I seem to get to a share figure of only 6 1/3 million issued for FKL. Is this right and does it give them the opportunity to raise new capital easily for new ventures and acquisitions? | keithfagan

28/6/2004 17:06 | Still feeling positive about FKL but this Berlin Bremen thing certainly muddies the waters somewhat when you want to make a decision on buying the stock. How has the BB listing affected other companies in the short term due to their shorting activities?? I was going to buy some more this week but feel inclined to hold off until the situation clears a little. | keithfagan

25/6/2004 10:42 | selling share you dont have, wait till price drops and buy back, to cover your position... sell 2.90, buy 2.30, make 60p a share Cez, many Companies know nothing about the listing, untill their shareprice falls unexpectedly. I understand UK Companies can have them de-listed if it is a problem, so good idea to mail FKL. | ![]() currypasty

25/6/2004 09:36 | I see that FKL has been listed on the Berlin-Bremen Excgange, legally or illegally , and dealings start today. This exchange has been noted for using 'naked short selling', so expect FKL to be shorted from now. Have sent an Email to FKL asking if they know about this listing. | ![]() cezary
24/6/2004 12:55 | Despite all this news still only 14k of trades today. What will happen if this picks up I wonder (and wish I had the money to speculate...) | keithfagan
24/6/2004 12:45 | Well lets hope this positive news is translated into hard evidence and results. I have been waiting for years for this company to come good, ever since its Anglo days and the promise then of finding oil offshore. | keithfagan

07/6/2004 07:18 | Cambridge Mineral Resources PLC 07 June 2004 CAMBRIDGE MINERAL RESOURCES plc Falkland Islands Mineral Exploration Update Cambridge Mineral Resources plc ('Cambridge') announced on 13 February 2004 that the Company and its Joint Venture partners Global Petroleum Limited ('Global') and Falkland Island Holdings plc had obtained financing from funds managed by RAB Capital ('RAB') to form a new Falkland Islands based company Falkland Minerals Limited ('FML'), through which further investigation of the on-shore mineral potential of the Falkland Islands would be funded. Subsequent to the formation of FML, the On-shore Prospecting Licence previously held by the Joint Venture consortia was vended into FML with Cambridge, following the transaction, holding 11.5 per cent. RAB also agreed to contribute US$1.2 million towards a US$1.35 million exploration programme. The operators of the project, Global, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange announced to the ASX on 4 June 2004 a positive update regarding the project following the completion of an aeromagnetic survey over most of the Falkland Islands. The directors of Cambridge are pleased to provide full text of the announcement made by Global as set out below. Falkland Minerals Project Completion of Aerial Magnetic Survey with Early Encouraging Results Several magnetic features identified Maiden drilling targeted for December 04 quarter Global Petroleum Limited has received encouraging preliminary results from the aerial magnetic survey being conducted in the Falkland Islands. Nine magnetic features have been identified which merit further investigation. Global now awaits the results of interpretation and modelling to be completed by late July. If suitable targets are identified at that time, drilling could commence late this year or early next year. ASX listed Oil & gas exploration company Global Petroleum Limited (Global) has a 15% shareholding in Falkland Minerals Limited (FML) a non-listed Falkland Island registered company. Falkland Minerals Limited is the holder of the exclusive onshore mineral licence that covers the entire land area of the Falkland Islands. Global advises that the acquisition of data of FML's aerial magnetic / radiometric survey over the Falkland Islands that commenced in March this year has now concluded with a total of 32,685 line km surveyed. The original planned survey was for 31,663-line km but an additional 1,489-line km were surveyed over specific areas that had been identified during the survey and from previous work. The aerial magnetic and radiometric survey covered about 90% of the land area of 12, 000 sq km, and included 10,300 sq km of 500m spaced flight lines and 1,500 sq km covered with 250m spaced lines and 125 sq km covered with 100m spaced lines. The 250m and 100m areas include the key anomalies recognised from the survey and previous work. The planned stream sediment geochemical sampling has been completed and the assays have been received. The samples were collected on a planned 200m spacing from streams associated with three of the gold prospects - Mt Usborne, Glorious Hill and Malo. A total of 190 samples was collected with an average 260 grams of minus 0.25mm stream sediment collected. Higher gold assay results include 1.14 ppm, 0.38 ppm, 0.08 ppm , 0.02 ppm and 0.01 ppm from the Glorious Hill Prospect; 0.31 ppm and 0.02 ppm from the Malo Prospect; and 0.04 ppm from the Mt Usborne Prospects. In addition, anomalous silver assays were recovered from all three prospects including values of 0.67 ppm and 0.61 ppm. These results confirm the earlier positive stream sediment results in the same areas and are being integrated into the database. Interpretation and modelling is underway and will initially focus on 9 magnetic features identified to date, some of which are coincident with the areas where previous stream sediment samples and assays have been positive for gold. Seven of these are in the Mt Usborne area and two are in the Glorious Hill area. The magnetic results from the Verde, Shepherds, Malo and Warrah Prospects have yet to be reviewed. There are also some magnetic anomalies in a number of other areas that could represent anomalies of interest when the data are fully interpreted. It is expected that the integration of all geological, assay and magnetic and radiometric data, including the interpretation and modelling of the magnetic data will be completed by late July. If suitable targets are identified it is planned that drilling could commence late this year or early next year. The Board of FML will be considering a number of options to fund this stage including a possible listing of FML on the UK Alternative Investment Market.
