FOGL is frontier Oil and Gas, but that is an OTC US stock, so not sure if Falklands Oil can use the same ticker if it already exists, albeit in another country on a minor exchange.

So, we can't sell tomorrow, as the certificates won't arrive until the 28th? Or risk being caught short with your broker.

I seriously doubt you will be able to buy at below 50p when dealing starts, unless your broker can buy them pre market.

if i can get in at 50p or lower with 5000 shares i should be able to sell 2500 assuming it hits a pound ill have 2500 for free.

Not impossible as ive done exactly the above before.

Thats a good idea, you will hopefully be able to sell them for a quick profit on the day.

I am annoyed I have to wait until the 28th October (the certificates are dispatched), they probably won't reach me until November.

Two weeks trading then I'll be able to sell half my holding, I only wanted 5000 shares anyway.

Hmmmm i was going to go for 5000 but went for the miniumum instead thinking it would be oversubscribed, i thought i wouldnt know for two weeks wether or not id be getting a check for the difference in the post and therefore would not know how much funds i have.

I therefore thought it better to snap up another 5000 at 8am on the day and on a T20 as well.

Can you sell your shares before the certificate arrives? I called Capita IRG yesterday, they assured me that I had been allotted the shares that i applied for.

I believe they estimate that the price will hit £1 within the first few hours of trading, the public offering was for only 5m shares which will create a tight squeeze and the price will fly. RAB's there to play it another way if you are disappointed with your allocation.

Would love to know grey market price on this, For the record, I've applied for 15,000 shs and reckon px will close on first days trading at 55p-60p.
Anyone else got thoughts on that????
