Thats a bit of a surprise..and the metrics of any deal will give a direct read across to a Falcon valuation.
They obviously like what they see of the Beetaloo so far.
Its worth recalling that Bryan Sheffield who invested 10m USD in FOG this year also invested 20m AUD in Tamboran last year .(Sheffield was the founder of Parsley Energy, a major independent unconventional oil & gas producer in Texas, which was sold last year for US$7.3 billion)

Street Talk understands Tamboran’s been in talks with brokers and investors about a $150 million funding package, with proceeds used to buy into Origin’s Beetaloo.'

I notice those earlier Tamboran wells just keep improving too.


'The Santos operated T2H and T3H well flow tests have delivered a 40 per cent and 150 per cent increase, respectively, in eight-day average flow rates when compared to corresponding peak rates in January 2022. This follows the wells being reopened after the installation of production tubing in July 2022, with both wells now flowing through 2-7/8” production tubing and being tested using a 24/64-inch choke.

Plenty going on in the Beetaloo this year .
Every successful drilling campaign there helps derisk Falcons acreage.
