Shocking news from a fellow company who is drilling in the vicinity.

I have sold up today.

Huge downside.

They are both drilling in the same basin. The Beetaloo sub basin Northern Territory Australia.

I suspect they will get stuck into these when the TSX opens today.
They are inclined to be a bit flakey there.

I will be happy to add at around the price the Directors bought at a month ago .

ie 8p plus a bit or 13/14 cad . If I can get them over the next few days/weeks of course.
That at least is the floor here.

They were a little disappointing ....flowing at 2.6mscf and 2.5mscf when commerciality needs 3.0mscf .
They reckon they can tweak them and I don't doubt that .But they weren't blow the lights out results which is why Falcon has slipped this morning.

Hermana3, they said that they are going to continue testing to obtain more info on the sites. Flow rates were mixed but they reckon that the Mid-Velkerri shale is capable of flowing gas in excess of 5 mmscfd per 1,000-metre.
The T3H well peaked at 10.0 mmscfd.

i shall be interested to see if the weekend press gives us any news as if they have had a good result at Santos then it helps to confirm-derisk Beetaloo which is definitely topical given todays gas prices and Australias recent offer to help Europe in any gas shortage.
