Many thanks to Richard Morrell for confirmation of launch month.

".............I have something disruptive I'm launching in July........"

Add 6 months to sell into marketplace and further 3 months before seeing revenue. We land in March / April 2019 for revenue.

Net cash burn at £250k per month we will see next fundraise in Sep/Oct 2018 and looks now like a second before financial year end Mar/Apr 2019.

FLX need to show us the money, winding the market up with tweets is a disgrace while the poor LTH now has to wait another 12 months to see a profit.

I wait for the imminent publication of the accounts where I will be looking for the size of the net loss and measures to bridge the looming funding crisis.

I assume most of extra 200+ customers came with first base and shareholders paid for them( 3.4 million). It not as if falanx has went from 29 to 300 by organic growth because midgard is so good. How many of these customers choose to remain with falanx longer term is unknown. I wonder how many new customers falanx generated themselves.

All I know about midgard V2 is it is called V2 and aimed at large companies, hardly enough information for me to confident about its future.

Falanx IMO is still a tiny company struggling to make ends meet. What we need now is the highly advanced pipeline to start producing contracts at a reasonable pace to show breakeven Buying other companies with shareholders money is easy, getting falanx to grow due to its product offerings is needed now and that means contracts.

Is the FLX technology patented and globally protected?

As I have recently learnt to my cost a market leading disruptive technology has been adopted by Microsoft and now a tool given out for FREE.

So 300 customers. I suspect their security graph isn’t big enough. It either needs to scale to a lot of endpoints extremely rapidly or it won’t be any good, probably why they’re trying to onboard organisations with early adopter programs.
If you look at how most security vendor solutions work, they offer home users free / low cost versions of their products - they do this because they need the threat intelligence so they can sell a decent product to enterprises. Without the intel security products are rubbish.
This needs to scale fast or it’s dead in the water.

"You know when you've hit on something when you have US tech journalists you've known 20 years who are more excited than I am at what we are doing. Two choice terms overheard today "there's disruption and then there is carnage", "every major tech VC is going to have a cold sweat"... Says creator of Smoothwall that became industry standard

Answer to YumpPlease Learn to understand how businesses operate how products are launched, processes of sampling trials and eventually orders like MidGARD 1.. You didn't rate MidGARD v1 now it's generating cira 1 Million in revenue and growing rapidly within 1 year.. Now if you can't understand MidGARD V2 and the process then you shouldn't be wasting time posting on this thread

Last year Falanx reported they had 29 customers in the latest video JB confirmed 300 customers, high net margin disruptive MidGard element is growing rapidly.... with Falanx on the verge of break even that 70% margin would drop straight to bottom line. I am totally convinced v2 is a break through development and am expecting revenue generation from v2 by Q3/4. All in my opinion

IMo Sp will continue to drift until we get some hard hews on contracts.

Management, may be feeling disappointed as after the figures mentioned on the video, the new contracts, the new game changing products and the 700k in that highly advanced pipeline, imo it seems confidence of delivery is like the share price at near all time lows.
It will be interesting to find out what "highly advanced MidGARD sales opportunities" means in terms of time period.

As far as i know they have nothing protected by patented and this was alway one of my concerns. If midgard v1 or v2 and the new cloud product are game changing without patents how long will be before they are replicated by larger companies.

Its going to be free. So a few years before anyone pays for it, as it has to have its public-trial-by-developers first.

Significant DevOps teams are not going to pay up front for something unproven. That's why it says 'openly accessible'.

Perhaps someone should email DM and ask for a direct answer:

"Does the release mean FLX will be paid and if not, what is the actual objective ?"

That doesn't seem to be a commercially sensitive bit of information to get.

Love this BiTCloud ready, out of the box, this technology 'stack' (V2 MidGARD)can be used in almost every industry vertical and is envisaged to displace hugely expensive licensed monitoring technologies. It will also simplify the complex and expensive data management and architectural issues that often eat millions of pounds of code and time and is expected to be significantly disruptive in the enterprise space.

MidGard revenue are growing rapidly with 70% net margin with V2 MidGard imminent launch growth should go through the roof remember there is no one out there serving Cyber security departments of these giant companies they are spending millions, by having the 24/7 auto monitoring component done by v2 MidGard these giant companies will save millions...

Not valued as A Glaxo Smithkline.

Disruptive tech that is a consolidator of fragmented market.

Bidder will pay to have a nice package of tech in new growth market.

BUY.

... and it is NOT A 70% DROP THROUGH TO THE BOTTOM LINE.

Understand accounts and terminology for your own good - seriously or you'll dig a grave for your money, if not with this share, then with others.

You can't add on the revenue from first base without taking off their overheads and the run rates include First Base. Also there will be inevitable exceptionals, or it will be the first takeover not to have a few hundred K at least in there for amortised intangibles and the rest.

By the way, what's with all the 'John' stuff.
If you think he's your mate, trying to make you money, you're deluded.

Someone explain how a business that is not sold as a box of tricks, is scalable at anything other than a steady rate, other than by increased sales effort and therefore increased cost.

This ain't a gravy train.

Winning monitoring contracts through Midgard will drive this share price. John indicated its scalability with a 70% drop through to the bottom line. Companies like this need recurring revenue over long terms in order to provide certainty of earnings and raise finance at a reasonable price.

Once you can demonstrate a scalable business with predictable revenue and cash flow it will be rated in the same way that companies such as Sophos, DCC, Corero etc are (on multiples of revenue much higher than what FLX currently is trading on).

There is no doubt about the growth of the market and the opportunity. Can FLX convert? Some more contract wins over the next couple of months will go a long way in demonstrating the viability of their business model.

The 2017 results are such old news they don’t really mean anything . Its all about the monthly/quarterly run rate. Using the figures quoted by John gives the following revenue and gross margins, which I assume are annualised run rate:

Intelligence: £2m/500k
Cyber Assessment (inc FB) £2m/500k
Consultancy/Response = £700k/150k
Monitoring = £1m/700k
Total = 5.7/1.85k

Total overheads of £2.8m, based on 2x the amount of the interim (£1.4m), gives a loss of £1m, or around 90k/month. Given there were some contract wins after the presentation maybe you can add some more to that run rate, up to 900k but probably less assuming some churn and renewals. If they can convert the pipeline of £900k which they also announced then I think that will get them to breakeven.
