Well good luck to them if they've turned up to an Investor show with the intention of selling to other businesses there, who are there to promote their own business to the investment community.

That reminds me of the nasty little creeps that used to turn up to social clubs in the 80's, trying to sell 'investment products', all dressed up in their power suits and brick mobile phones.

I would have hoped by now that they have a refined shortlist of businesses they specifically want to sell to and their efforts are concentrated there.

I think they will release a triple whammy as well

150,000,000 shares to pay for the new shiny thing and on going costs.
Breakeven delayed due extra spending on new product.
A 2 million pound loss for the year.

I am sure the new product is all singing, all dancing, game changing, disruptive, world beating, must have and while it may not make the tea it may protect the tea pot (if the tea pot is wifi enabled:-).) but if midgard is not delivering then shareholders will have to pay for the roll out agian.

I am hoping for your whammy but expecting mine.

No. There are over 100 other plcs there...over 100 opportunities to provide cyber services to them - they can meet CEOs face-to-face and network...in my view that's a no-brainer. They're hardly going to be tapping up 65yo private investor John Smith from Swindon to provide cyber services to him are they?! LOL

If they put a load of people in the room trying to drum up investment 'business' then that pretty much shows they're over-interested in the share price and not their business.

Otherwise the sales team should be drumming up ACTUAL business.

Unless they're trying to drum up cyber business in the investment community... ??!!

Mike Read reiterated expectations of b/e soon at UK Investor; personally, I think they're going to release a triple whammy RNS - contracts, reaffirmation of b/e and a tech update. Don't forget there's also synergies to come from the recent acquisition, too. They did seem to have a huge team at UK Investor - certainly more people than most other companies so I can only hope that the sales team "were working the room" trying to drum up business; if not, that's a lot of overheads for a jolly up in London.

With net cash of at least £800,000 there are no funding worries at all. There should be no more share issuances.So: strong balance sheet, earnings visibility, at breakeven, sales soaring, high gross margins perfect scenario..
