I post because I had an interest in investing here. There's no law against posting views on a stock you don't have any position in. Please post relevant to the business not about personal issues you may have.

Dave, can i just ask one more time why you post on here if you hold no shares. Whilat you are welcome to your views i just cant understand your motives unless you think by deramping you can get in at a lower price?

Take a look at their main competitors accounts (Translux International Ltd), much better headline numbers than ADF. For FY2021 their revenue was 25% greater than ADF at £35m, but profit before tax was considerably greater at circa +85%.They will IMO take business from ADF as they generally undercut them. All IMVHO and DYOR

Good evening yasx and welcome!.I consider those that resort to name calling because of an opposing view, children, and those on the other thread are serial rampers and follow each other like clueless lemmings. How immature to ban someone for having a contrarian view, it shows how little they know about their investment as they are incapable of countering the issues I've raised.Even Hastings first post to me was a childish comment, and I was very disappointed in his interview, just a PR exercise. I accept that Netflix isn't the only game in town but they are ADF's largest customer so will have an impact, the extent of which only time will tell.As you know I liked ADF initially but after more research began to completely mistrust the BoD, can't get away from that now and the more they update the more they contradict themselves. No matter what's on the balance sheet the cash has been committed and some. They are not generating any cash and wouldn't be surprised to see a significant increase in net debt at year end.

Disco,

Notwithstanding the fact that I am a holder of ADF shares, I consider the stance to restrict you from posting to be utterly absurd, especially given that what you have posted are not unreasonable views when looked at through a less optimistic lens.

Although Netflix is losing subscribers, others have entered the arena and demand for ADF services remains strong. There is some concern regarding the cash position especially if further acquisitions are planned. For now, I think the shares are reasonable value and have fared quite well in the context of a very weak market in smallcaps during 2022.

As for Tom, I would ignore him - just look at any Co he has been involved in during the past year or two and almost invariably all have lost 75pc plus within weeks of his baseless ramping - I jest not, just check out EXR, Renx and the rest. It does worry me that he is long ADF!!

Happy birthday ADF, listed for one year today. A 7% increase in share price hardly justified IMHO, especially as forecast adj EBITDA (bull s@it profit) for the year was from memory £7.8m, which is only +1% to last FY.Is Ennismore selling up I wonder or has the penny dropped! :)

The BoD love to spend cash they haven't got and are so full of contradictions:-In May they said fleet Capex £13.8m:The Group has committed to new fleet capital expenditure orders of approximately GBP7.2 million and GBP6.6 million for 2022 and 2023, respectively. Four months later they either got it wrong previously or forgot they'd committed a further £2.2m:The Group has committed to new fleet capital expenditure orders of c.GBP7.8 million and GBP8.2 million for 2022 and 2023, respectively.Where will all this additional cash come from I wonder, not to mention the recent £4.4m acquisition, yet to be booked the additional building Capex and fleet refurbs etc,. oh and the payment of additional £2.7m of debt they've taken on but decided it wasn't material enough to inform the market!.Wouldn't be surprised to see another placing coming along.

Eezy - bearish views are always welcome in my view. Spamming, whether from a ramping perspective or bear-ish, just causes these boards to die

I see the childish rampers have ruined the other thread as they don't take on board a contrarian view.Sad, very sad.

Well done 74tom. Both sides of the argument have value, as opposed to echo chambers which add little value, but constant spamming is just tiring

Let's hope that the building collapse at the General Coach factory in the summer combined with the winter storms didn't impact on the ADF fleet delivery! (although one minute ADF said it had then they said it hadn't).H1 Sept:"Due to the well documented worldwide supply chain issues, we continued to see increased lead times on delivery of our new fleet from ADF's key suppliers; General Coach Canada, who supply the Artists Trailers and Production Offices; and from DAF, who supply our Technical Vehicles, Tractor Units & Generators. To date in 2022, any delays in deliveries of new equipment has not had a major effect on the business."But in Dec in an informal interview they are now on track....let's see!.

“Management is monitoring the macro-economic backdrop, with increased energy and fuel costs, along with higher inflation, and are preparing strategies accordingly.”

Taking on debt (that wasn’t reported to the market), committing to Capex spend with cash they don’t have, giving loans to CAD at ridiculous interest rates…….I wonder what these “strategies221; are?, don’t tell me, they are converting more fleet to run on bio fuels and here’s the novel strategy - and charge customers for the cost of the fuel…wow!

Dave, you say your posts are backed up by data, there are lies, lies and statistics. For example you post about the loss of Netflix subscribers and make it one of your key points. A balanced view would also show the increase in other streaming services such as Amazon and Paramount to more than offset this.

You are correct that your posts have no influence whatsoever on the day to day stock price but it does make me wonder why you would put so much effort into posting as a non-shareholder. Trying to drive the price down on solid companies is a very risky business

AdamB1978, I disagree on this occasion. As @Masurenguy has just pointed out, the said individual has made 79 posts here in 2 months - this is over 50% of total posts in that time period. It's pretty obvious that their aim is to dominate the board with negative sentiment and filtering isn't going to achieve anything. Quite incredible that anyone would spend that much time posting if they didn't own any shares!

The troll has made 79 posts on this thread over the past 8 weeks. He obsessively seeks attention by trying to goad people with his negative posts and desperately needs to get a life.
