26/3/2024 15:03 | I spoke to HJ for around 30 mins on the phone this morning, he had got in contact with me after I left my contact details on the IMC feedback form. He answered most of my outstanding questions, so I will have a go at writing up a few brief notes this evening. | timbo003
26/3/2024 14:49 | Might even see a blue day tomorrow. | clocktower
26/3/2024 12:54 | The market is crazy - EVG now valued at less than £2.5m - SFX-01 has surely got to be worth more than this bearing mind what they have already achieved. Tempting. | clocktower
26/3/2024 12:06 | I heard this morning (from the horse's mouth) that Evgen are intending to hold a face to face capital markets type day in London, sometime between the two May bank holidays. It is intended to make it open to retail shareholders (although places may be limited) 🙂 | timbo003
21/3/2024 13:28 | Recruiting: "Our lead program focuses on an autism subtype called 'ASD Phenotype 1' and we are currently recruiting for clinical trials." Just a thought: Rather than Stalicla paying the sums in dispute would they be considering buying all rights to SFX-01 outright, hence the need for another asset purchase and name change? | clocktower
20/3/2024 14:52 | Not exactly a vote of confidence, as one can buy under the 1p at present. | clocktower
20/3/2024 13:23 | Although there was no opportunity to ask direct questions at the end, there was a survey immediately after that asking how positive or negative your feelings were about the company and a comments box to add detail. This paragraph was contained in the RNS Current Trading and Outlook In the last twelve months the Company has completed an insightful Phase 1/1b volunteer study and continues to analyse gene expression data from the study. These results will be made public when the analysis is complete. Evgen continues to work closely with its partner Stalicla for a quick and amicable resolution of the current milestone payment dispute , and on its programme in ASD and will provide updates as the programme proceeds. | greenrichard
20/3/2024 12:47 | No surprise to hear that, but thanks for sharing, timbo. I decided against dialling in. Needless to say, I will not be joining this raise either. But good luck to those who decide otherwise. IMO the game is virtually up here now and I trust the BOD here as much as I do pretty much all the other BODs in this space. A real pattern of reward for entire failure, unlike anything that I have seen elsewhere in the private sector. Great gravy train for these types, for now at least. | lovewinshatelosses
20/3/2024 12:18 | Disappointing there was no opportunity for any questions at today's IMC presentation, also why not any comment regarding progress on the resolution of the dispute with the Stalicla collaboration? This certainly will be a big consideration for many investors when weighing up whether to commit any new funds into the fund raise. | timbo003
19/3/2024 20:37 | Yeah, that too. If they can keep the game going for a bit longer, presumably a share consolidation sometime down the line too? Never a good look to have billions of shares in issue, not that it stops the game in itself. Shame, as I did have high hopes for this one. IMO, this is now, beyond any reasonable doubt, one of 'those' shares. Well, it was, long before now of course, but this latest news removes any last potential vestiges of counter argument, as far as I am concerned. | lovewinshatelosses
19/3/2024 20:24 | I think it’s more about erasing memories that the shares were once 30p +. Folks will look at a chart and see a staggering line upwards imo. | clocktower
19/3/2024 20:16 | A lot of Chinese restaurants apparently change business names to avoid paying VAT liabilities. Not insinuating anything with that statement, of course. It is not like this company is making any money for a start. Do not see the reason for the name change myself, but that is the least of people's concerns here I would imagine. | lovewinshatelosses
19/3/2024 19:58 | Someone will need to start a new thread with the new ticker very soon. | clocktower
19/3/2024 19:20 | I disagree hat, at just 1p the combined business is going to be worth a lot more than £5.5 million. If Stalicla goes ahead without a serious hitch, the potential still undervalues the company , at least it would be three times the current price, and that is without any licensing deals that the earn out seems to be based upon. If there was a few deals with this compound, who knows how the market might value it. | clocktower
19/3/2024 19:20 | I am inclined to agree hatfullofsky. Good luck if you do take the plunge again CT. Will be interesting to see if we get any TR-1's at any point. I simply do not believe that all the main shareholders remain unchanged since the last time the company updated their investors page, or since the last formal market update. No way the drop over all this time just from PI sells, IMV. Not that it matters I guess. Just need this one ideally to make it alive into the new tax year... | lovewinshatelosses
19/3/2024 19:11 | I think they'll be very lucky to get anywhere near GBP1m from PI's. GBP100k more likely | hatfullofsky
19/3/2024 18:53 | Lovewin I think there is 30% upside to start with but tomorrow will tell but Kight will be feeling the pain amongst others but I wonder if they have participated so to avoid dilution. If the major shareholders have chipped in it will send out positive signals to the market impo. Still you could have bought today, as I pointed out at .0915 but that was based on the current depressed market and without this new potential game changer that along with SFX-01 it might attract bigger fish. Still, I took my punishment early thank heavens and also sold what I had re-bought, at another smaller loss, so I have options tomorrow. | clocktower
19/3/2024 18:34 | Yeah, edited my post re the dates, apologies. Does not change the red flag though. But if you plan to load up on the basis of this update CT, good luck to you. For me, I think this looks extremely dubious. And throws up yet more questions about the viability of this business, not to mention whether such significant dilution for such a small amount of cash is in line with fiduciary duty, among other things. You still here mark? | lovewinshatelosses
19/3/2024 18:19 | So Huw was a director for 10 years until April 2023 of the company being incorporated into this. However, what they are bringing to the table may turn out to have considerable value. Time will tell but unless they have effectively been book building by selling short for some time, which has depressed the share price they might struggle to raise but I doubt that as I think buyers will already be lining up to take this towards 1.44p deal price. We were all agreed that the asset value of SFX-01 was undervalued with the share at 1p so on balance I think those that have been buying at 1p to 1.25 will soon be in profit. Plus if they get a settlement from Stalicla and they move ahead then it could be positive I guess. | clocktower
19/3/2024 18:06 | What a bunch of crooks. This is clear to me now that this is a lifestyle company for the directors. Pathetic. | hatfullofsky
19/3/2024 17:44 | Check them out on Companies House. Have a look at who one of their former Directors was. Anyone else think this looks...shall we go with puzzling? | lovewinshatelosses
19/3/2024 17:34 | They have released some uninspiring updates in the years that I have had the misfortune of being a shareholder here, but this one is right up there. Is the current pipeline not enough to be getting on with? Are they sure this suggested addition is a slam dunk buy? Will be interesting to see how many take up the offer. I am particularly interested to see if any of the main shareholders do. Assuming they are all still here of course. No updates on this front, although quite frankly I have little faith in that process now. Perhaps if they take questions tomorrow, we can ask about this and maybe they will confirm. | lovewinshatelosses |
