18/1/2019 08:34 | Strong trading update yesterday. A bit surprised at the lack of market reaction. This is definitely a long term hold for me and I will continue to add on any share price weakness. Also, IMHO, just a matter of time until one of the majors makes a move to acquire EMAN to be able to offer a premium offering... | retirement_fund
23/9/2018 17:39 | Don’t normally announce my sells but thought I should here as I’ve been so bullish on their prospects. I sold out completely in the week following the interims as I felt they had a lot to do in H2 to meet broker forecasts & the high rating began to concern me. The lack of a broker update also worried me & I now see that Stockopedia is showing eps of only 2.9p & 3.8p over the next two years. Despite this, with an excellent management team behind them, I still believe they have many years of strong growth ahead & remain a great long term investment. NAI / DYOR of course and GLA who hold. | xajorkith
05/9/2018 07:56 | Another encouraging set of results & particularly pleased to note the following in regards to the longer term growth of the business: “Everyman differentiates by focusing on delivering a high-quality offer through its venues, content, staff and F&B. The Board's long held belief in this model as being the bedrock for significant growth within the UK has been further strengthened in the last six months and our ambitions continue to grow.” | xajorkith
19/7/2018 06:59 | Had hoped for more as on such a high PE | zipstuck
19/7/2018 06:20 | Happy with that. Committed to opening 15 more venues, nearly doubling the size of the group, whilst "demand for the Everyman offer continues to strengthen" leaving them "confident of a successful outcome for the full year". | xajorkith
13/7/2018 06:52 | Incredibles 2 release tomorrow | zipstuck
10/7/2018 07:13 | What better place to go than a cinema to cool off. | zipstuck
09/7/2018 08:34 | Seems a few agree with you jpsmithson as a trickle of small sells continues to push the share price down on low liquidity. Not long to wait for an update thankfully. | xajorkith
03/7/2018 08:01 | Nice to see Adam Kaye adding another 56K. | xajorkith
02/7/2018 09:40 | High multiple reflects the quality & long term growth on offer here imv, and the short term weather outlook will not change that. Hot weather may well cause some to go elsewhere I agree, but unlikely to have a material impact over the longer term. Depends on your investment horizon I suppose. | xajorkith
02/7/2018 09:25 | General market jitters and possibly the warm weather deterring cinema goers. This is on a very high multiple so any hint of a slow down and this will get hit hard. | jpsmithson
27/6/2018 16:38 | This has been falling before recent market jitters & up market today but still down, so not sure I quite understand why. Anyway have added & will continue to add. GLA | ddubzy
27/6/2018 14:23 | Nervous markets combined with the usual summer malaise? Whatever the reason, still see this as a quality long term growth story despite the 20% pullback. Very oversold & approaching the 200 day MA, so have added a few more today ahead of next month's trading update. | xajorkith
27/6/2018 13:30 | Was thinking the same - seems excessive? No news as far as I have seen | valuehustle
27/6/2018 12:53 | 270p down to 207p, what's happening? | ddubzy
18/6/2018 18:47 | Attended Mello South where in the Finding Wonder Stocks discussion John Warren of Schroders UK Dynamic Absolute Returns fund spoke positively about Everyman as an example of "premiumisation" in the same vein as fever tree etc. Based on this, the fundamentals and the chart looking oversold I have bought today. | valuehustle
15/6/2018 18:31 | Finally convinced to buy in here today after being told of the great experience my brother & his (teenage) kids had at the new Everyman in York. High rating justified imv, with eps forecast to surge to 8p next year & strong growth likely for several years to come. | xajorkith
23/4/2018 06:36 | Large stake announced by institutional investor ! | twistednik
17/4/2018 11:29 | Everyman cinemas are really taking off in the London area. I see so many celebrities posting on social media and the concept is liked by everyone I speak to that has been. I see this going from strength to strength and have just added a few more. I can see this going to £3 soon. | retirement_fund
14/3/2018 12:44 | What’s a fair valuation on this now would people say? 250/260p ? Ed | edmate
14/3/2018 12:17 | Looks like a very solid set of results. With the size of the estate growing this still looks to me like a perfect bolt on acquisition for one of the bigger players in the sector. DYOR | everton448
14/3/2018 10:51 | Another solid performance. I have been topping up when funds allow and will continue to do so. Generating lots of cash and business model proves to be working well. I can see this being a takeout target for one of the majors. Very exciting future ahead. | retirement_fund
12/3/2018 14:07 | Lynne Ramsay’s 'You Were Never Really Here' good film , excellent soundtrack 👍 | philanderer |
