01/10/2020 16:31 | There's plenty of resistance at 3.5p can't see it going beyond that. Will top up if that is hit | lukehold
01/10/2020 12:04 | Hopefully positive EBITDA this quarter (on minimal marketing spend) but then it's a question of putting in an appropriate level of marketing over the next quarter to make more sales but stay profitable and build from there. Need to see how reduced competition and the general economic situation pan out.It could all go horribly wrong, but I'm sleeping OK at the moment. | ewanwhose
01/10/2020 10:02 | This was meant be a safe sleep easy investment. Now very close to being valued at cash levels. | katsy
29/9/2020 15:48 | @Katsy - cheers, I wish everyone (myself included) had a great attitude like yours. I doubt anyone can accuse you of misleading them, your underlying point IMO was spot on i.e. expect a retrace towards 4p followed by consolidation and uplift. Plus the explicit or subtle reminders to DYOR! | outlawinvestor
29/9/2020 15:39 | Thanks OutlawInvestor if that's the case I stand correct and apologies if I've mislead anybody. | katsy
29/9/2020 14:55 | ADVFN's charts miss out data from 01-Sep. Candles (or OHLC data) from other platforms e.g. TradingView or even uk.investing.com will confirm there was no gap. | outlawinvestor
29/9/2020 12:17 | @Katsy - thanks for the reply - i'd not heard that maxim before. Looks like we're going into a bowl. Some good news would be most welcome Cheryl to get out of this range and break 7!! :-) | domrebs
29/9/2020 11:27 | @DomRebs Well according to the charts above there was a price gap (1st September) where the price opened up higher then the previous days closing price. ie. if the day before had closed at 4p then the next day it opens at 5p and continues rising. Most chartist say all gaps must be filled, ie have trades in my example between 4p and 5p. | katsy
29/9/2020 11:00 | @Katsy - not sure i follow - can you expand on your post if you've time - thanks. | domrebs
29/9/2020 10:36 | Gap closed, took an extra week than expected, hopefully we can move along now. | katsy
29/9/2020 10:19 | Very disappointing slide back but I remain confident that this will quickly re-bound. EVE has the right CEO at the right time and is doing a great job without doubt. | clocktower

25/9/2020 12:48 | Agree with both the last 2 posts. I do like the current focus on business efficiency and am glad that we aren't just splurging marketing as Emma seem to be. I am currently trusting Cheryl to get the level and type of marketing right (and she knows a lot more than we do about which marketing is currently driving sales, including Argos and Next). However, current SEO and online advertising does feel a bit on the quiet side. On the upside, Emma have to pay to be #1 on Google for 'mattress sloth' and we get #2 for free! | ewanwhose
25/9/2020 11:11 | I think this is the next phase of eve's strategy. Stage 1 was right sizing the business, next phase is increasing marketing activity and brand recognition but doing it in a sensible way to maximise growth and ensure profitability. As others have noted, a highly respected marketeer by profession as CEO is no accident. The signs look good to me. The sloth has some cut through and the boots tie up is a sign of increasing brand strength. | richie07
25/9/2020 10:12 | My concern is it's a hightly competitive / largely undifferentiated market and they just aren't sufficiently visable in the search space - 1st stop for 99% of in-market buyers. The which best buy not being leveraged either - most customers start with next to no knowledge of what they are buying so that's a very powerful short-cut. Topline isn't going to grow if this isn't sorted out and certainly not able to capitalise fully on shift to online shopping. IMO. | domrebs
25/9/2020 09:42 | Placing? what to top up their £9.2m net cash position. Net cash £9.2m end of June, current market cap £12.2m! | katsy
24/9/2020 09:56 | Cheryl buying £4.5k of shares. Not a huge purchase, but could be just making a point. :0) | goodapple
21/9/2020 12:20 | EVE should benefit from another national lockdown as I assume the high street will be shut again. | katsy
21/9/2020 12:11 | It's blue again I see.... that's impressive today and in this market. | richie07
21/9/2020 10:44 | Followed by a stronger selloff. | katsy
21/9/2020 08:01 | Strong open on the tip in the Sunday paper. | richie07
20/9/2020 10:18 | If we have to buy online, we can't try it first - how do we choose? | petersinthemarket |
