The positive impact on both share prices (EOG and i3E) suggests the proposal passed.
I may add that some of the negativity in the BB may have come from shorters who have no vote (you can't trust anyone on these threads). I imagine the move up to 19% this morning was the short squeeze as shorters reacted to the RNS above.
It's done IMO.

If the result of the vote is not being disclosed until after the market closes , which seems odd I wonder if it's a NO vote and they now need to discuss with their brokers etc the wayforward. Also how to unravel placing shares sold forward that now need to be repurchased with lack of liquidity.

Well one outcome results in an enormous overhang of shares, the other results in a shortage.

You did ask mine and S93 opinion sometime ago and I did reply back then prior to S93 actually - so take a look at that if you missed it - this really isn't that bad a deal for both parties - genuinely - the technical risk is probably better than you're going to get elsewhere and as clearly stated in the RNS (!!) on less than 2 for 1 terms which is "sort of" the standard for NS "exploration" stuff!!

Again though - this is oil and gas and very risky - so you takes your bets - I do sympathise with the placing price - but I think it had got a little heated re "information" floating around - and they may have felt under pressure to get the deal landed with i3E as the well should be drilled - hopefully at end of summer season - which is really quite soon!

I shouldn't be cause Im too old but I like his attitude. Much prefer Cube though, who I met in London with Dre in a restaurant. Now thats proper drama, never mind this oil nonsense.

TOWK2 - ffs - remarks like "sell up then" versus "it's a steal placing" are equally as silly as one another.

I think a lot of people need to stand back and look at what wressle is currently - production banging up but yet to be disclosed increases in 2 p reserves - so either in current market - div back to holders and (effectively) close up - not much upside - or try and get some more upside through deals like this.

People keep on banging on about Ireland being a good deal etc - take a look at technical risk and f 'all going to happen with stranded 50BCF asset - especially if you haven't got the cash to pipe it to facilities (lol ENFG) - Morroco similar pie in the sky - but that is what these promote companies are all about.

The real damage was done a long time ago by you know who'y - simple!
Really best of luck all and I hope this finally comes good in a few months time - not long to wait.
