Hi Charggg, I don't think your "usually the placing participant has to pay 5-10% fees on top of the placing price" is correct. I have several friends who have participated in placings over the years and they have never paid any premium on the placing price. Are you perhaps thinking of the commission, usually somewhere between 5% and 10%, that the company pay to the broker, and which is therefore deducted from the gross placing proceeds?

not selling till August so it means little to me what it does in the next few weeks

ive played these many times and always won.

in a high oil price environment there is always some fizz to be had as the rig rolls into view.

those are the days for selling

these are the days for buying and building a position.

I haver never seen so much conversation. This price is nailed on for the churn. As soon as buyers dissappear it will drop.

I imagine it a couple of decent holders but no one of any real value will invest in this team.

Our new resident NUMPTIES are heralding the new holding of 55.5m shares but say nothing of the holder of 66.6m shares, that has now had to declare a reduced percentage, as they have been heavily diluted by the absolute GIVEAWAY?!!!!!!!
As they either voted yes or abstained, perhaps TURKEYS DO VOTE FOR XMAS?!!!!!!!

Placees only got there stock on Monday 28th, some will have forward sold but the heavy flipping is underway now, some of us know how this works. You're not gonna clear £7m in two to three weeks lol

There is a ton of PIs looking at EOG waiting to buy in. Everyone getting anchored to the placing price. What they don't know is that usually the placing participant has to pay 5-10% fees on top of the placing price. So their breakeven is usually placing price plus upto 10% which is close to 2p price.And those thinking there is a lot of time are forgetting that EOGs not a one trick pony and there is oil production that's ongoing with daily cash flows accumulating at $100+ oil prices. Positive news flow like UJO and then EOG share price will adjust for wressle before taking into account the drill. And if there is any news of farm out on Morocco acreage then the ones sitting on the sidelines can kiss goodbye to their entry price expectations.

Think you need to check the rise from 7th march, after placing was announced, from 2p to 3.2p and the selling that followed. Methinks most of your supposed flippers might have already flipped. lol

Give it a week or so it will drift below 2p, the first few days theres always a lot of hysteria from the flip merchants, some of the institutions will be dumping for instant profit too. Theres just no rush, even a week is too long for most on AIM and theres nothing happening til late summer so that'll be around August September time.

There was near 1m quid in that tr1 yesterday if done at placing price, and there's been a ton of larger trades already washed through. I suspect many are tucking these away while there's dips near 2p. If there's further tr1's, that will explain why it tightened up late yesterday.

£7 million overhang will take a while to clear and drill not until late summer. This will drift to placing price and maybe even lower as they so often do, those who took the placing got there stock this week and are making a lot of noise to flip it for there 10%-20% so theres no need to rush and buy it up here, wait.

Yeah. Willing to miss out over a fraction of a penny, especially with news that's outstanding on Wressle production/ cash flow as well as appraisal well news and a possible Moroccan farm out news. Remember I3e always said Serenity will be a game changer for them, and their market cap is over £220mn - guess what it would be for EOG...

I'm actually interested in what "Wressle is going gangbusters" means from Oddie's last interview. Seems clear to me our Wressle discovery is more than originally thought. Report due to be published in April.
