I was. I remember getting it in the neck regularly for pointing out what a pile of poo EUA was and that the supposed sale process was a scam that the company had done before, in order to spike the share price and raise funds.

Those were the days when the financial PR firms were being paid to drive the boards into a frenzy, gmf78 with his bonkers Power of 78, Richard Donkey Dugdale, that moron Paul who threatened to get his sister to kill me, etc, etc, etc

The sad thing is that, even now, there's a whole army of donks that think that Eurasia's assets are worth more than zero. Some stubbornly hang onto the original ACF Research report that suckered them into believing that the "assets" were going to be sold for more than £1bn! That's despite:

* ACF forecasting revenues of £341m for 2021 but actual revenues being just £2.3m!
* The company placing to raise funds three times instead of selling its assets
* All $45m of the placing money raised having "disappeared"
* Dmitry Suschov having done a runner years ago and erasing Eurasia from his LinkedIn profile
* The M&A specialist (Alexei Churakov) doing a runner and dumping all of his shares (at 29p)
* Due Diligence by the “credible buyer” having been completed over 2.5 years ago in October 2021
* etc, etc, etc

There is a well known investment saying by Mark Twain, which goes:

“It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.”

^^ This so aptly describes EUA investors.

Everyone believed F911, as they saw it with eyes wide open from 1.5p to 7.5p, and we said we are leaving the next men.

No one was here when the 300-man crew were pumping.

We pump pump pump, then we dump dump dump. Magnificient Mong, the nonce from Rochdale, lost all his expedition fund money to Africa, buying our shs off us at 7.5p.

EUA - s/loads down but has lied about sell price.
EMH - set up a thread saying how great it was. When it went from 24p-14p, suddenly he'd sold that as well (at a profit, of course).
You can see how he gets personal so easily. Facts and truth can do that.

So, with next to nothing to audit and months in which to have done it the auditors remain in disagreement with the audit committee "... in relation to concentrate stock confirmation..." and need another four weeks (approx, ha...) to sort it out (or find the missing concentrate or proceeds thereof, maybe. Lol.)

Grant Thornton, along with the big four London based firms, are under increasing scrutiny and ever larger fines for failing diligence on audits. Whatever GT (who have been EUA's auditors for years) have found, or not found, must be fairly significant for them not to sign off the AR this time around and to need this extra month. A hiccup with a local accounting system upgrade? Hmmm...

I'd previously wondered how EUA remained listed in London when the likes of POLY had to delist and move to the Astana exchange. Was it because there were no sales or revenues to report but now there are and so enforced delisting is a possibility? It seems one hell of a mess to have got themselves into. Will suspension be lifted or (with an asset sale still on the agenda) is this the route to taking EUA private as seems to be the London fashion these days?

People saying this is a sign company is sold are deluded.Accounts are late due to some concentrate being sold.Suspension will happen.Accounts will be published.Back to where we were.I hope this comes good for the holders but after getting stung in POG, ill be steering clear of the Ruskies from now on.

"IMHO. the board and MM arnt going to suspend. They want more panic sellers to enable them to sell so more up for grabs so when RNS or sale info is out they will grab large profit. Best option is to load now and hold. Many are at high loss already from the 7p drop so lots of scope to break even."

Update regarding AR and Suspension


The board don't get a say on the suspension. If they can't publish accounts by 7:30am on Monday morning, at the absolute latest, then suspension is automatic.

From the RNS:

"The auditor has advised the Company that approximately four more weeks will be required to complete the audit. The Directors and the Audit Committee have assessed the matter in detail and have strong confidence that this is a realistic estimate."

So the accounts will *NOT* be published in time and the shares *WILL* be suspended.
