French Connection wasn't in an *FSP* last year; they've only just entered one this month. This is the longest FSP on record, by some 40 days at this point. Although you are right to say there is no formal limit, the Takeover Panel can at any time revoke the offeree company's exemption to Rule 2.4, which would force them to RNS any and all non binding bids they have received. Calm down people. Market thinks no news before the EGM so the share price drifting... You can see it as an oportunity to buy more cheaper. The question is by much lower it could go from here. I expect the share price start reversing a couple of days before the EGM . But what do I know ....

Asagi - I'm short EUA but it's not a big position (unfortunately!). I'm not going to go to the trouble of contacting the Takeover Panel about something that will eventually be resolved soon anyway

I think you are mistaken in that assumption, TheMadStork. A Formal Sale Process can persist as long as management wish it too. There is NO upper limit, or point at which the Panel says "you've had your time". The FSP at French Connection, for example, persisted over 400 days.

In defence of the Panel, the FSP at Eurasia Mining is thus consistent.

If you think the FSP will be resolved soon, bears have been thinking that since day 100. We are now close to day 300 of the Eurasia Mining FSP.

Russia annoys someone in the world every minute of every hour of every day...what's new? One thing for certain is they have potential access to a lot of high value assets through EUA so I suspect EUA and Russia will be 'walking out together' for some time to come. I'll happily buy them a wedding present...lol!

Rutter - I know your 15p share price quote was an 'IF' but seriously, with the assets below and above ground and all the strategic stuff going on besides I don't think 15p is something that UBS or DP would get out of bed for...IMO. 😁

How would that share price deliver shareholder value for money against those assets?

IMO the reason of the continuing share price fall is profit taking. I'm sure if the final sale price was to go through as say 15 p then there would be many on here posting " I took profits at 30 plus" lol or similar .

Remember the caveat you all signed up to when you began your investment journey? Your investment may go DOWN as well as UP and that's all that's taking place at the moment.

Should the EUA share price go up in value will you complain then I wonder? Patience really is the name of the game here....

Not sure it's actually de ramping, more stating the obvious. I'm here for the long term (whatever that is) but can't help being disappointed at the constant and obvious share price activity. I would like a little bit of honesty, is that too much to ask for

Frankly, if potential placees are stupid enough to chuck cash at what is plainly a disaster waiting to happen, then I do not have much sympathy to be honest.
