PaTT they have come so far how could they turn their back now.
As David says they have a clear route to target now. Obviously we'll see some growing pains because they are not well funded and they will need to be careful about what opportunities they take. Contracts will likely have to include some early payments at least covering component spend. However if the pressure of supply from OEMs is as it seems Ethernity will be able to contract conditionally as the OEMs want to be in this market.
It's a rare opportunity for vendors to bypass the major players who have a stranglehold on this high end OLT market because they restrict the access to semiconductors.
The UEP in WISP radio backhaul is an absolutely for nothing network addition that makes wireless as reliable as fiber. It will be interesting to read about the case studies that come from the current trials with WISPs.

We wait and see but sit here at ground zero. Bergen will convert 15% soon and as the story unfolds the share price will respond.
I have taken the most that I can at this price. Now I wait.

Of course the placing was arranged in advance. At a ball busting discount but clearly the BoD simply thought the game was worth the candle. With the limited data we have it seems that the whole product line is exactly the right product in the right place at the right time and price.

The discount will mean nothing when the shares move above 20p.

Scepticalinvestor clearly the investment market is trash and they took the advice of Peterhouse. Now you could say that about any company and any fundraising. It's a childish comment.

The placing is exactly the same as the January placing, the terms used exactly the same. Both are not underwritten. I don't know where the idea about an announcement came from it would be quite unusual. We have already been told that the new figure is 130,161,305
I don't understand where the idea came from that the placing wasn't a done deal. There were conditions around cancellations, warranties and best endeavours to place the shares that were also in the January placing where we didn't receive any further information. These are just standard disclaimer notices in a placing that's not underwritten. Clearly they would never disclose the placing otherwise as it bound to trash the share price.
These are standard lines and why I said we would not see a significant RNS within the period of the placing.
So unless I am mistaken it's exactly the same circumstances as the January placing and in due course the holdings will be updated.

You have to ask yourself - if it is such a great company, why did they have to offer a placing at a circa 80% discount to fill?Bargepole im afraid
