29/9/2021 14:03 | Focus on customer outcomes and 5 star ratings. That tells you everything. Big corporate budgets on team building and go to premium brand. Based on the worst possible period it's all upside from here imho. | actybod
29/9/2021 13:27 | "Proven" will only happen when it makes a sustainable profit. Given its 2 cap raises and just about CF breakeven in a strong summer period doesn't show it's a proven model. I have a small holding and see this as interesting but high risk. | ![]() bertiebingo

29/9/2021 13:18 | Not sure how he can say it's unproven ! They have proven it in the worst possible circumstances. Don't know who the guy is but I trust my own instincts here. More sites more profits! Buying sites at preferential rates. More working from home means more corporate budget for team building! | actybod
29/9/2021 12:42 | Paul Scott’s commentary…. My opinion - you can probably guess what I’m going to say! A market cap of £33m for what is an unproven business model, strikes me as bonkers. | ![]() playful
28/9/2021 14:18 | Looks like cash excluding the 1.4m capital raise and 0.7m working capital benefit due to timing would have been 0.3m (down from 2.7m YE). The WC reversal happens in H2 but this is compensated by the R&D credit 1.2m. | ![]() bertiebingo
28/9/2021 11:08 | I read the statement as very encouraging. This is a scalable business model which could become a strong and highly cash generative brand. ESC is in a unique position to attract corporate clients who will require a consistent, professional, and innovative standard of provision across sites around the country/world. Corporates will expect their employees to share the same high standard of team building and motivational experience, wherever they are based and are unlikely to use tin pot independent providers. I don’t know if ESC already link up the experience for corporate work teams in different locations, but if not, with technology and their existing online provision, there may be an opportunity to do so. Corporates are not just looking to send colleagues out on jollies. They are looking for developmental, team building and motivational benefits which are also fun and engaging for the participants. The business model will enable ESC to reinvent and refresh the customer experience to encourage repeat business. | dlem

28/9/2021 07:23 | Strong bounce back in sales continuing -- Mature LFL sites delivering 117% of pre-COVID (2019) sales with total sales (including new sites) delivering 192% of 2019 level in the 16 weeks between re-opening and 5 September 2021 -- July and August both profitable at Group EBITDA level (even stripping out UK Government COVID support) which validates our previous assertion that with the existing estate, the Company could become cash generative over a full year Sales up 192% of 2019 level, profitable over last 2 months, I thought these would be up over the 140p level this morning. What am I missing? | ![]() czar
