13/11/2013 10:45 | You certainly can boonboon - I hold APHB, which is quoted on the US OTC market, and have started a thread on it: | rivaldo
13/11/2013 10:13 | it's NYSE:EROS but I don't think you can start a thread with charts for overseas shares. | boonboon
13/11/2013 10:11 | Sumitos, only Sat69, the originator of this thread, can change anything in the header (though the thread title is impossible to change). So if he's around he could insert a NYSE chart for EROS in the thread header and get rid of the AIM charts. Otherwise, anyone else can set up a new thread with the right EPIC code, charts etc by clicking on "Add thread" at the top left of the screen. I don't know what the NYSE code for EROS is at present. | rivaldo
13/11/2013 07:25 | I see we can now check the NYSE price on ADVFN. Is someone going to shift the BB to that page? And before anyone says why don't you - I don't know how! Lame perhaps but true nevertheless. | sumitos
13/11/2013 06:53 | I'm smarting, expected top end valuation, but then we are talking about US funds who play hardball especially with non US companies. Anyway whatever the listing price the investor audience on NYSE is 1000,s of times bigger than on AIM so after a couple of months it will find its level. Still I like the whole story, growing numbers of screens, growing audience, increasing ticket prices and best of all digital monetisation of the massive film library (particularly with HBO), also growing interest in the Bollywood genre worldwide. It may take longer than we hoped but a few good quarters results and we should be closer the $20 I am hoping for. | czar
12/11/2013 23:09 | Not great news here today. Might be overly optimistic but maybe we stand a better chance of a positive reaction to the IPO on valuation grounds now, given that the equity value at $12 is just $583m (48.6 x $12) compared with the previously assumed minimum equity value of $771m (51.4 x $15). Fingers crossed. | molrey
12/11/2013 19:18 | Eros International decreases IPO price and shares offered, removes insider selling | aishah
12/11/2013 18:01 | Mucking fess! Missed stated intentions on dates for a long while, now it's price. IMO it's Worth holding to see if a spell on NYSE puts the price where expected. | napoleon 14th
12/11/2013 17:13 | I agree this is extremely disappointing news. It's been a long wait for what? A reduced SP! Certainly not what I was hoping for. Now I'm glad my holding is fairly modest! | sumitos
12/11/2013 16:43 | So they're raising $60m as opposed to $200 m originally planned. Barely enough to cover the fees. Will the shares be in demand tomorrow? I'm not sure. Could be a flop. Very disappointing. should have sold in high £2s now am stuck with US shares. just hope they get a better rating over there but may be grasping at straws. Doesn't appear much appetite for Bollywood does there? | yorkie52
12/11/2013 16:07 | It reflects very poorly on the underwriters: they should never have allowed a guide price of $15 to $17 to be published if they weren't confident of the market for the shares. On reflection, given the company's recent results perhaps we should not be surprised that demand was thin. | eacn
12/11/2013 15:58 | Is aim corrupt or what? Smells of insiders to me. | yorkie52
12/11/2013 15:58 | Whats that smell? | monkeymagic3
12/11/2013 15:27 | Disappointing all round. | brownie69
12/11/2013 15:25 | Under subscribed. Have placed less than 50 percent of offer. | njb67
12/11/2013 15:09 | All shares need to sell at a discount (see Royal Mail). It should see value afterwards if value is there... | smurfy2001
12/11/2013 15:06 | Indeed - looks like the institutions demanded their piece of meat. If the markets continue to be steady then hopefully it'll do very well in the aftermarket. Disappointing though. | rivaldo
12/11/2013 15:00 | $12 so thats about £2.50 Oh let me just check and see the price on aim.....ah yes about £2.50 Funny that | sphere25
12/11/2013 14:59 | New guide price of $12 / share. Bit less popular than expected. Have to say I'm a little disappointed! Let's hope it flies in the secondary market. | evaluate
12/11/2013 14:58 | Corrected... NYSE Listing Update - There we have it. IPO price down to $12/share. Seems like some people were in the know these last few days. | speedsgh
12/11/2013 14:28 | rivaldo I used the $1.8million USA sales as reported on boxofficemojo and the 11.80crore in the above report as USA box office sales for my calculations. | boonboon
12/11/2013 14:01 | IPO scoop shows as tomorrow: | aishah
12/11/2013 13:52 | Zho, but they can talk about Krrish 3's success to the prospective US investors on the roadshow.... Boonboon, 40 crore is around £5.6m at say £140k to 1 crore - though that's using 2012 rates which will have changed. But still a lot better than $5m :o)) | rivaldo
12/11/2013 13:30 | Surprised you got you shares already??? I'm still for my broker to confirm if these can still be held in Crest!! | smurfy2001
12/11/2013 12:52 | Surely you can't trade in both sets of shares. If the new shares were issued on 8th November surely that's the effective date. Trading should now be in the new consolidated shares but that doesn't appear to be the case. Confused!!! | yorkie52 |
