07/7/2017 07:37 | Yasx the self proclaimed share Guru calls it like a complete clown...again. in goes the boot!thud! chuckle chuckle. | runwaypaul
07/7/2017 00:24 | Well, one hopes those like Trout and others supportive of the abject announcement get buying, since I need volume to sell this on any spike. I have no idea where the price will go in the short term (I hope it goes higher), but I just cannot see Madden creating any tangible value. This is a promoters stock - the involvement of Ebioss has sadly made little difference and after years of spin, the same theme continues. | yasx
07/7/2017 00:20 | The point is clear - EQT are not being clear with shareholders as regards anything. I would not rule out a placing or some ghastly dent instrument to pay of Aldair very shortly. | yasx
07/7/2017 00:14 | yasX, Why would your intervention make a difference? Perhaps they dismissed your intervention but today on seeing the rise in SP, got a call from the NOMAD saying 'it's speeding ticket time' we need to put out an RNS saying we know of no reason.......hold on shouldn't we be straight with the market about the Newry delay. We'll have to yes. RNS goes into the system and a few hours later it is released. Unfortunately the price had already dropped back by then and this RNS is treated as the negative, when in fact it was a ramp up on information about Ebioss and Eqtec Iberia and not EQT. When that became clear, those that bought, sold out and others used the rise to sell into.... | troutisout
07/7/2017 00:06 | Trout, They knew this information but chose not to publish it for some time, despite calls for them to update from myself (and, I know, others). But, why would they wish to suppress the price today with this announcement which clearly never emerged today or anytime recently. | yasx
06/7/2017 23:56 | YasX, What I think they are suggesting is the equipment would be bought by another EQT/Ebioss project in development. All these projects are SPVs that are funded separately and the stakeholders all own some equity in the SPV. As for Altair and the rest of the concert party, the plan was to pay off the loans with the money from Newry Financial Close funds. So either way the sale of the equipment either to the Newry SPV or another in the stable will result in the money being used to pay off the concert party.... | troutisout
06/7/2017 23:56 | I have no doubt it will get planning, but the impotnat thing is to get it built out and commissioned before March 2018 or we lose the 1.9 ROCs on the project. Without that subsidy the whole economics of the project changes and becomes less attractive. If that was the case then to turn to a plant using municipal waste as a feedstock would be a better solution as it attracts both revenues on delivery of feedstock and then for the energy generated.... | troutisout
06/7/2017 23:56 | yasX I think it was put out after the rise this morning, which probably prompted them to look at issuing a speeding ticket, but they knew this information and therefore had to make that clear to the market.... | troutisout
06/7/2017 23:47 | Quite why they announced today with such urgency is another matter, since there appeared no urgency last week when I spoke to VSA to update on any matter and there is nothing in the announcement today to suggest any development today that caused them to rush this out mid afternoon. | yasx
06/7/2017 23:42 | Incidentally, i last week contacted VSA and suggested to Andrew Raca that given the Co. had indicated timelines for NBL, they ought to update holders as regards progress or lack of it, especially since they ha indicated the Civil Works Order and DD were both advanced and imminent some months ago. He met with the CEO last week and advised me that my concerns were put to him but the Co. felt no announcement was required. Funny then that this afternoon, in what seems like a reflex reaction, they put out this announcement stating there have been delays for a while re planning. Why has this been deemed so urgent today? Readers can make of it what they will. | yasx
06/7/2017 23:42 | Oh come on chaps, do not fall for that baloney. So, Ebioss will suddenly pay 5mln for the equipment they just took equity for a few months ago because EQTEC could not pay up. Even if they did, how would that benefit shareholders, since after paying Aldair and allowing the Board to spend it, it too will evaporate. Look at the salaries Madden has taken over the years, and look at what he has delivered. I cannot think of one initiative he has embarked upon that has been completed successfully. He spins the same tired lines time and again, and when it looks like he can no longer do this, the Co. changes name and restructures, rinse and repeat. I had assumed with Ebioss involved it might be different, but I think they will be the beneficiaries here, along, of course, with Madden and Co. Other shareholders are, put simply, screwed. There is not one jot they can do about it with a majority controlling holder. I recall earlier this year when I got involved repeatedly stating there were considerable risks in backing a Co. with such a majority holder, but, against my better judgement thought Ebioss would not allow the rug to be pulled from under the feet of minority holders. That was certainly a poor call. My investment trebled but illiquidity meant I could not offload the lot and held on. | yasx
06/7/2017 16:26 | 1.6ps are sells so MMs taking a few at this level - so some selling still ongoing at this level although MMs willing to take a premium - | tomboyb
06/7/2017 16:20 | Good luck getting any, they have closed down online limits | troutisout
06/7/2017 16:17 | Well EQT hit a high of around 9.5p - so at 1.75p worth a punt? If the equipment is said to be worth what it is then there could be a future here? | tomboyb
06/7/2017 16:05 | After all the Eqtec equipment at Newry must be worth nearly twice the market cap.... | troutisout
06/7/2017 15:55 | I'd wait for seller to sell - even at all time lows - 350k and 250k at 1.5p - With Eboiss converting at 5.5pish who knows where this will go - | tomboyb
06/7/2017 15:43 | It's a no brainer really, the more I think about it the more positive the RNS gets. - Local Authority slow with planning amendment, already a rush to get finished before the March 2018 deadline. Got to raise €11.2 to fund it.... - Plan B change planning to use RDF in Biomass plant. Sell the Eqtec equipment to Ebioss (cost us €5m). Ebioss likely to be able to put RDF plant into their China Energy portfolio and fund through that. Much more synergy and something that will only help, if the reverse takeover mooted above comes into play.... | troutisout
06/7/2017 15:26 | Down 38% and waiting to see any sellers - The fact is unless there is further selling MMs are offering not even NMS here - It will be interesting to see where this ends up at the end of today - | tomboyb
06/7/2017 15:18 | Can't buy anything at these levels - MMS - | tomboyb
06/7/2017 15:18 | IN GOES THE BOOT THUD! chuckle chuckle.... | runwaypaul
06/7/2017 15:15 | Tempted here.. I will see where this drops as main conversion was at 5pish - | tomboyb
06/7/2017 15:14 | MMs have had a field day today a spike on rumours, a drop on an RNS and really I feel the share price should be slightly up on today's news and events..... | troutisout |
