Methanol is required to prevent a hydrate.
High pressure low temperatures. Google hydrate curve.
When online, temperatures increase and therefore not required.
A corrosion inhibitor will be required though.

Worth a repost Deep high pressures CaliforniaA guy in the industry gave me this info. "Just found an interesting journal article from the late 60s - in California onshore fields they found at a certain depth the pressure gradient moved from the hydro- to the lithostatic gradient making them overpressured. Lithostatic pressure at this depth could be up to 10k psi" https://books.google.dk/books?id=WBRBAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA38&lpg=PA38&dq=hydrostatic+pressure+gradient+onshore+california&source=bl&ots=vv7URIXVtz&sig=zVgGgcxOf1utsj3fpbmGaREC0JA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi7zbnJ3pzXAhVE1BoKHSh3DnAQ6AEIJjAA#v=onepage&q=hydrostatic%20pressure%20gradient%20onshore%20california&f=falseHe adds. "In laymans terms, there seems to be more fluids (water*/gas/oil) trapped at depth in the area than there should be - which would support that flow rates should be high (as the column tries to revert to hydrostatic pressure) Also the overpressure might also have caused the rock to have fracture (i.e. Natures own frac job)

Other assets are due an imminent update. Could be a very good few weeks. China data so far is better than management expectations.

With all the heavy duty equipment employed for this production test and the double checking of all this gear it indicates to me that the experts in charge of these operations believe that they are about to harness a monster well i wish them every success the result should be staggering and i am guessing for 1.5 trillion plus
