Cmackay, you're one of the most rational, logical, interesting posters on this board. I'd have thought your knowledge and experience in O & G was far greater than you mention, stay the course !

cmackay,

Just had deja vu moment!! Couple of years ago I was sitting here with the share price in the low 20's, looking for 28p or better when the OP collapsed & it all went a bit pear-shaped. Just as well history doesn't repeat itself!

Just to clarify, it's a pretty general theme across advfn boards. SPs are always down due to "MM tricks", "MM manipulation", "orders to fill", etc, etc..... never traders taking a bit off the top or moving on to the next stock

Not true TGG - every time a share tanks that I'm in, I always claim I sold out much higher!

Very good point tgg. I'm yet to sell any but I have a target of 28p for the 4245 shares I got a fortnight back with frivolous ISA punts I took off for stalling (UKOG, TERN and GLR). Great re-entry to UKOG if we're quick. I mistimed the rise here, clearly, but I'm new. I'll get it. I don't think o&g is my forte but I've learned a lot of the small cap psychology, I just don't know exactly how it transposes to other sectors in relation to equivalent mcaps. Enjoy the weekend, all. I've been grafting at the boatyard so i'm on 2 beers and done already ^.^

OTOH, folk seem happy to declare that they've topped up, but rather disinclined to post about reducing holdings.... ;-#))

Taking people who are risk averse aside, on days like today, you can't help feeling that the AIM market is more manipulative that it needs to be.

The market cap looks far too low for 50MMBOE+ net recoverable onshore US. And that's without any value being added for Mako, China or the other US assets.

I agree on the COS being high, I suspect it is really just a matter of how good.

But, it may need to be exceptional, given all our expectations?
