17/10/2017 14:53 | I have just read Peter Strachen's report on PCL and I can see he values eme @ 14p per share based on an 85% success of 300bcf. I have seen the figure of 300bcf mentioned before, I am assuming the 300bcf is our 30% of expected 1tcf. If that is the case and assuming Dempsey flows why will our share price fly on success, if we assume nothing changes in China and Indonesia, are we saying it derisks the on trend and Alvaras and its direct cash. Or am I missing something ? | stewart4700

17/10/2017 14:28 | What's your £500 mill valuation based on? You need to go & consult your spreadsheet.... | thegreatgeraldo
17/10/2017 14:23 | can we clarify the figures 14p based on 85% chance of what? .....the reservoir has projected 1tcf...so is the 14p based on 30% EME's share, which equates to around 300bcf? please confirm...or do I need to "find it out for mesen"? | deanroberthunt
17/10/2017 14:23 | Obvious point to bear in mind is that the better the testing goes, the less we learn! | thegreatgeraldo

17/10/2017 14:09 | Thank you Saf 14p based on 85% chance of 300 bcf but we are expecting 1tcf+ or more - so pretty impressive if it flows. and the read across to the other on trend prospects. I had heard that there was an updated version to this one - but i am sure we will get to the true value soon as the flow test gets under way. | starzerus
17/10/2017 13:51 | if you filter all the nutters on advfn, you'll end up with no one to talk to.... | deanroberthunt

17/10/2017 13:37 | Dempsey could be a significant producer and in production within weeks of flow testing, with payback within months what's not to like | deanroberthunt

Funny why don't you give in. .................... Toon I have come to the conclusion you are a boring old fart who thinks he is in the bigtime because he owns 15m shares in a penny shares outfit like EME. If you owned 15m in Aviva or BP I might find you interesting but you are a sad old geezer full of your own importance and can't stop bragging about your imaginary wealth. I know men who would put that kind of small change in a charity box to save the whale or some such good cause. You are going to South Africa so what? The fact that you have to boast about it on a financial bb says what a sad self deluded chump you really are. | harrissen

17/10/2017 13:16 | Tarz, This is the brief update from Strachan on PCL dated 28 Sep. Previous edition on PCL´s site dated 30 Aug. This is encouraging which obviously comes from SGC:- “In all likelihood, if the bottom most sandstone zone flows gas at a commercial rate, testing will stop immediately and the well will be linked in to the nearby pipeline transport system for commercial gas sales on a long term flow test. Planning can then focus on drilling additional shallower wells to intersect target gas with purpose designed wells so as to boost production and revenue for the JV partners, SGC, PCL, Empyrean and XST.” He has a figure of 14p for EME based on an 85% chance of Dempsey holding 300Bcf. This is an impressive number in its own right but which represents less than a third of the pre drill target. They may have identified additional reservoirs during drilling which could increase the target. The valuation of course excludes Block 29 / 11 & Duyung where good news was issued subsequent to his dedicated report which is published on EME´s web site dated 15 Aug | safiande
17/10/2017 13:09 | do you know how deep the Dempsey 1-15 well is and how long it took to drill? roughly | deanroberthunt
