04/10/2017 07:31 | They're using a high pressure workover rig, preparing the site and hoping everything is successful to connect up once done. Hopefully they will get some gas flowing and poss even some revenues starting by year end.So far so good. Everything proceeding as planned. 2-3 weeks to get the rig onsite looks about right, end of October to START testing the first reservoir looks about right. It doesn't mean they will be producing November 1 either. I think I mentioned before that it's perfectly feasible they will not see first revenues from this til 2018.It seems a lot on here are being caught up in the perpetual ramping (on both sides). This is the oil and gas business. Things don't work to the letter. Projects and works progress takes time and is frequently outside of the operators hands. The given is that if you think there is something down that hole, it ain't going anywhere. | ![]() oilforex
04/10/2017 07:29 | PR speak or Chinese instructions 'The timing of the components of the program will be the result of the ongoing detailed logistical co-ordination of the rig and services, interfaced with delivery, assembly and running of high pressure (10,000 psi rated) completion equipment necessary for the safe conduct of the planned tests. The testing is being planned around tubing conveyed perforating equipment that is expected to provide deep "1 metre plus" penetration into the multiple potential gas reservoir zones.' | tyler durden1
04/10/2017 07:25 | Harrisen No guarantee Trump won't nuke North Korea tomorrow morning - that would dent the investments markets. You take your choices and live with them - easy really. | ![]() kevjames

04/10/2017 07:11 | If there is a pullback - simply buy more, then it will recover. Shares will then go from the impatient to patient. Anyone like to hazard a guess on the share price with the announcement of commercial flows? Only 3 weeks to wait - not exactly a lifetime. | ![]() kevjames

04/10/2017 07:00 | blueblood - exactly. What would people make of an RNS that read something along the lines of 'flow test indeterminate because the rig was unfit for purpose'.If people can't see the significance of requiring rig equipment suitable for higher pressures then they don't deserve to reap the rewards here. | ![]() terry hardacre

04/10/2017 06:56 | Why is everyone talking the price down? We have identified need for bigger rig to handle high pressure and are using drilling company that has successfully handled this monster so far. What do you want them to do go ahead with inadequate equipment for sake of few weeks? share price might dip on slight delay but better end result more likely. Not bothered about T20s this is an investors stock and a medium term (3-6 months) multi bagger in the making. | ![]() blueblood

04/10/2017 05:54 | 10kpsi is needed for sure, they would have got pressures during wireline so they know what to expect, shut in surface pressures would be the same as these pressures seen on wireline, minus a gas column. | swampydrill
04/10/2017 05:26 | Of interest, this is not the rig first considered hence perfectly logical reason for the delay. It also further shows SGC are using a drilling company which is both professional and highly competent. Swampydrill, could you please advise ? Is this specific usage of a specialist rig which can handle 10,000 psi indicative of anticipated high flow rates ? Many thanks. | ![]() bushman1
04/10/2017 02:24 | They must be confident of FLOWING a heck of a lot of gas to be getting a 10,000 psi workover rig. | ![]() ayesha4
