Empyrean remains optimistic about the significant value potential of its interest in Indonesia, which will be reflected in the current sell down process and the very recent execution of the export GSA between the Mako JV partners and Sembcorp as announced on 2 September 2024. The project has been further supported by strong gas prices in the Asian region.

Empyrean also has a 25-30% working interest in a package of gas projects in the Sacramento Basin, onshore California. While no activity occurred during the year Empyrean will assess the technical and commercial merits of other prospects or proposals as they are presented.



Empyrean has retained an interest in the Riverbend Project (10% WI) located in the Tyler and Jasper counties, onshore Texas and a 58.084% WI in the Eagle Oil Pool Development Project, located in the prolific San Joaquin Basin onshore, Southern California. No technical work has been undertaken on these projects during the year.

A successful sell down of our 8.5% interest in the Duyung PSC will enable the Company to reset and move forward with its exploration objectives as well as make repayment of the Convertible Note.

We now eagerly await the conclusion of the sell down process at which point in time the Company will be able to set its objectives for the 2024/2025 period and beyond.

Perhaps "balancing trades" to square up a book or position? I've noticed that there are often lots of small trades that go through when a mm changes their individual price. (Less so on eme).
Dunno. It's a bit of a mystery and no doubt all designed to confuse us mortals!

I also note that liquidity changes massively on the buy side. Again could be games but with II buying I am intrigued.

Last few days shows heavily weighted to the buy side.

The spreads are so wide its easy for the mm's to manipulate this into an auction process by moving the price up or down by 10%. So this morning in the pre opening auction there was a market order in to buy 53000 shares. That would have created a trade more that 10% up from the previous close - hence the extended auction.

If anyone with DMA access puts in an order now to sell one share at market, that could cause a 5 minute auction on the downside and a trade at .2p - even thought it's really .255p bid.

So easy for them to mess with, if they want.

Fascinating to see the share price is showing as up 40% but when you check Portfolio there's no increase in value at all! Widening the spread that much is quite something!
