Absence of buyer interest in EME post GSA signing is a bit disturbing. It will be interesting to see what happens with CORO. I bought into CORO at around 3p and bailed at 2.8p when I realised that Parson’s RNSs were nothing but smoke, mirrors and BS. Seems like ancient history now, but it wasn’t that long ago.

I'm an EmRo Blackie - a foot in both camps. I think that can't do EME any harm either.

I don't have any reason to filter you, JJ. I am a grown man that can take on board other people's perspectives. I think it's an important part of analysis tbh. Everyone can teach someone something, and learn something too. I didn't mean any offence or malice.

cmackay - spot on - he's been here for over a decade and had ample opportunity to sell at (i assume) a very good profit on historic spikes. Rather than blame management, maybe jj should look closer at his own investment skills (or lack of them)

I wish you well, JJ. However, you have consistently admitted to being a very poor investor over the several years I've followed this thread. What would be a good reason to listen to anything you say?

Always be prepared for disappointment with anything to do with EME
Anything above and beyond disappointment is a bonus

£20m to EME would value the whole shebang at £235m which is nowhere close. I think the field development capex is about that figure. Duyung is way bigger.

Curry, I have explained my working out so you can apply any figure but £20m would be nearer £10m cash however the previous estimates are a lot higher than £20m.

Why is that more realistic?

"If it sells at the end of this year, for £40m , EME get approx £28,480,000

If it sold for 30m , EME net £19,980,000"

what if a more realistic sell for £20m ?

Err
They signed the initial drill contract without having the necessary funds available and also the previous extensions without having the funds to drill 🤷‍a94;️

They won't imo be able to progress an application to e tend Topaz until they have heard funds to drill it. They don't currently have those funds. Once our stake in Duyung is sold, EME then are in a position to negotiate an extension. Whi knows the outcome but there is no point in negotiating unless you are in a position to execute.
